why would you not get a 15pk for yourself?
Genius
Because you might live in a state where you can't buy less than a 24 pack in a beer distributor.
<-- Stupid alcohol laws.
I'm against all non standard measurements. Beer should be single-6-12-18-24. Coffee should come by the pound and 1/2 pound... Companies use non standard amounts for deceptive purposes, and to make it harder to do a direct comparison of products.
1 word, and you can't bitch about any stupid state laws.
Yuengling
you has it, we don't
Can you do that in your head, in a reasonable time frame while standing in the liquor store? How about a 6 pack of Guinness draught bottles? Those are 10.xOz per bottle. How does that compare to their cans which are 15.xOz per can, and how do they compare with a normal 12 or 16oz container?a 12pk is 9.99 so $.84 a beer
a 15pk is 10.99 so $.74 a beer
a 24pk is 16.99 so $.71 a beer
those 3 beers give you one of the best deals around for non uberuber cheap beer

yes but you never have to get out of your car in PA and thats pretty fun
well provided you have a real brewthrough
i could very quickly tell you that the 15pk is a much much better deal than the 12 pk...
why are we throwing guinness into this? we are discussing bud light...
the BL beer ball is flat out the best deal out there provided you have the people to finish one
55 beers in a pseudo keg for 22$

where the hell can i find this at? thats <.50 a beer... honestly, who caries it... i can get 4 people to throw in $6 a pop and have unlimited beer all night pretty much...
Most stores have $/unit on the price tag so that helps a bit, but shrinkage is a scam.Companies use non standard amounts for deceptive purposes, and to make it harder to do a direct comparison of products.

Yea, but the case is better than both. The point of the Guinness example was show how non standard measurements are deceptive. What if you have 3 choices of American light in front of you, and you're trying to find the best deal. Bud is the one that isn't directly comparable. You may end up having to break the beer down to a per ounce cost to compare 3 different products, especially when you throw in distributor incentives. Generally you get the best deal when you buy more of any given product, but that isn't always the case.
You are seriously doing it wrong if you "bargain shop" for beer.
But seriously, most have the mathematical acumen to approximate costs, and if not, learn to bring a calculator.
As always, caveat emptor, but to knowingly try to rip off your user base though deception, and visual manipulation is highly distasteful.
