Bought a new car but want to return it!!!

Bought a new 2006 Hyundai Azera "Limited" with Premium Package for $25K (MSRP $29100 in this config) 5 days ago; drove 600 miles and HATE how it handles on rough pavement. All jittery, bumpy, and rough. Seems diff. from the demo car.

Can I sell it back to the dealer? Return it somehow? I know I'll lose $, but how much?

Yes, should've test-driven more thoroughly, ok, lesson learned. What are my options now?

Details:

Car practically "falls" into road pits and cracks 1.5"+ deep. Suspension makes a very loud noise instead of compressing smoothly. But goes great over bumps. Tire pressure 30 as recommended. Car Info

They claimed that the Azera had more interior space than the BMW 7 series. I dont know about that though...

they wont do anything. to bad you signed on the contract BEFORE takeing it on a test drive on such roads.
you can trade it in. but you are going to lose a LOT of money on it. but at least you learned a big leason. to really test drive the car you are going to buy.

Your best bet is to contact the dealer, but more than likely, you are screwed. Your only real option at this point is to contact another car dealer and use the new vehicle as a trade. youw ill probably take a killing on it, but yuo can see what you owe vs. what the new dealership will give you in trade-value and decide whether you keep it and get used to it or take the financial loss.

Some dealers are quite nice. If you spend more on another vehicle at their dealership, many will be willing to take back the first vehicle without you losing anything. I had a coworker that did it once.

But you might just have better luck in changing your opinions. Learn to love the feel of this new vehicle.

You can knock about 25% off the buy price as soon as you buy it new and drive it off the lot. Thats why I will never buy a new car.
