Another heads up - you can only get extra backpack slots from Claptraps in Playthrough 1. If you do them in Playthrough 2 - even if you didn't get them the first time around, you won't get them.

Luckily, you can jump between the two games. I just hit level 50 and went back to get the 42 backpack slot achievement.

then my game must of have been bugged as I got up to 48 during my second playthrough. Maybe the first 2 clap traps in the instances gave me pack up grades and the rest just gave me items and xp.

I don't think yours was bugged as I've gotten upgrades in playthrough2 as well. I don't get them off of every claptrap quest but some still give them.

I've already heard that the claptrap quests increase your inventory space. Do they unlock the other 2 spaces for equipping weapons or do they get unlocked someway else?

each clap u rescue gives u 3 inv spots.

max is 42 slots.. you should do them all.

you get the other two weapon slots as u progress through the story line. quest rewards.

So do you only get 1 inv slot per claptrap on the 2nd playthrough then?

not every claptrap gives you one as a reward on the second time through. At least that's been my experience so far. The claptrap in firestone didn't give me one, but a later one did.

I didn't think there was a third play through. You'll have to start w/ a new character.

I was a bit off - it's not exactly a 3rd playthrough, but once you beat playthrough 2, all of the enemies become level 50 (even the skags), and even some level 51 "superbad" guys pop up.

The loot also becomes the best in the game - all level 48+ equipment.

Thanks for the info, did a bit more last night and got the first one unlocked. Lot nicer being able to have my CR, SMG and sniper at the ready.

I joined a public MP match last night with someone that was within 1-2 lvls of me. The game showed plot mission was the one I had just did. After joining though, I had now freakin clue where we were and the mobs coming were 2-4 lvls higher than me. I didn't do to good, but the dude was a loot whore deluxe. I died 1-2 times and the few crappy things I managed to get and sale put me braking even on $ spent because I died. I have no idea how much money he had, but he died alot. And he wasn't talking so no teamwork at all could be done.

I'm currently around 14-15 and just got to where I can leave the Fyrestone area. My quest log is a little goofed up after last night, but I've got my fingers crossed that it will fix it's self as I go along. If anyone is close in lvls and progress send me an invite and we can team up.

This game is too addicting. Did some more missions and made it to lvl 17 last night. The safe house was pretty intense in spots. I haven't been getting very good drops and the 1 weapon store that I know of in Fyrestone hasn't had anything better.

I thought I read in the book that in MP that $ and ammo were shared. I figured it meant that it didn't matter who picked it up everyone get the same amount, which is what happens with the money but not the ammo. Anyone know if this is a bug?

Ammo has never been shared AFAIK, but I kind of remember reading that as well *shrugs*

I'm up to 26 so far. I'm having a lot of fun, just wish I had more time to play. I don't think I"ll be doing a 2nd playthrough. I'm not really a loot fiend and I don't especially care for playing the same game over.

Ammo does get shared, but you can only pick up as much ammo as you can hold. So there might be some discrepencies in how much people get.

I'd give the 2nd playthrough a try. I enjoyed it as much if not more then the 1st playthrough.

I get the msg about $ when someone else picks it up, but no msg for the ammo so I figured it wasn't sharing it.

ammo is not shared. just play with a solider who a class mod that has ammo regen.

then you dont have to worry about ammo any more.

ammo is not shared between players. only money is. There were plenty of times where I picked up ammo and my partner was still empty.

I've also noticed that if you're playing with a group, the person that turns in the missions gets a better upgrade (if the mission has such a reward). You still get something if you didn't turn it in but it's never as good.

Finally made it to New Haven over the weekend and hit lvl 24. On my way I had a hell of time finding the barrel for the revolver mission.

Farmed New Haven with a friend some this weekend. Got a nice orange shotgun with x4 corrosive on it. I annihilate dudes with Lilith.

I love this game. Finally got 1000 gamerscore yesterday but I'm going to try to get a level 50 hunter whenever I can between MW2 sessions.
