I mean I expect games like this to be light on the story but it didn't even really make sense, they couldn't have given you even something? Some cool guns? Any explanation as to who that woman was who was 'helping' you, etc.

At least give some good loot, I feel like it was completely pointless.

Anyway, the second play through is fun since it's a lot harder.

the story line was about deception. everytone was tricked including yourself. u were made to beilieve that there was treasure. u were being used basically to save the planet in a way. i guess the thing needs to be kill ever 200 years or something the balance of power stays the same........ is what itook from it.

its a story about greed.

but yes the boss should drop better guns.
 
I guess that makes sense but it's a really, really stupid.

The boss wasn't even hard either, it was harder fighting through this fucking eridian guardians just to get there 😛

here is the wiki story plot for the ending

After defeating the Crimson Lance defenses and alien Guardians, the player opens the Vault with the Vault Key. Once inside, the player must defeat a creature known as the Destroyer. The ancient Eridian aliens had sacrificed their entire civilization to imprison the Destroyer in the Vault, which left unchecked, would have consumed the universe[citation needed]. The Guardians were created to guard the Vault and ensure no one opened it. Once the Destroyer is dead, it is revealed that the Guardian Angel was actually an entity that resided in a satellite orbiting Pandora, and is related to the Claptrap robots. On Pandora, one Claptrap's camera-eye turns orange, and the words "Claptrap: Interplanetary Ninja Assassin" are shown. Afterwards, the player can sell the Vault Key to Patricia Tannis; the Vault has resealed itself and the Key cannot be used again for 200 years, but Tannis still values it. At this point the player can finish any remaining quests or begin a second playthrough, where all enemies will be reset and strengthened to match the player's level.

I bought an item for 5.6 million the other day. Keep collecting money until you hit 10 mil.
 
Does anyone know of a good place to get the 25 kill streak challenge? The highest I ever got was 18 in the Lost Cave.

I just tried that and no luck. I already finished that quest but afterward they don't pop up anymore in that area 🙁
 
Been doing the side missions from New Haven. I've done all that I can get so the only thing left is to meet "???" at her dig site. While doing the side missions there were places that gave access back to areas I'm pretty sure I've been to, except there is one that goes to a scrapyard. Is there a mission that will have me go there or is it just a side area?

There is a mission that will make you go there. You have to meet up with Crazy Earl. I THINK Scooter gives you that mission.
 
Hit lvl 30 last night while doing some of the side missions from The Middle of Nowhere board.

When looking at the bounty board in New Haven, turn left and leave the town. There's what looks like a box car that I'm not able to open, icon is still red. Is there a mission that will bring me back to it?

Yes, this is related to a mission that you can get later on.

As of now I've cleared all the side missions that I've found available. Only thing left in my log is to kill whatshisname for Crazy E. Was beginning to think I'd missed something.

I heard of one in New Haven that to get into it you had to have a certain mission in your log, but I don't know which one you had to have. I actually forgot about it until you just asked.

Is that the one and if so do you remember which mission allows the door to open? Or is there another one?
 
The game has only been out about a month now and the talk as already died out for it. Am I the only one still playing?
 
I played non-stop until I hit 50, then MW2 came out. I'll definitely be buying the DLC (I think it comes out this month) so I'll be back to it then.

Crap. I've been playing in the evenings and just hit lvl 31 last night doing side missions after killing Krom. And I still have the other 3 classes that I haven't even tried yet.

I lost interest in it real quickly after beating it.. replaying the exact same story line with a different type doesn't seem like it'd be a very fun experience.

I'll still beat it a second time with my current character.
