You can re-spec in the game without re-rolling, right?

Gearbox dev Randy Pitchford tweeted that Borderlands is selling out. Good news for them if true. Don't know if it is an indication of huge demand or just a small first print, but good news none the less.
I think they purposefully didn't ship a lot of copies to build some buzz about it selling out. This seems to be a fairly under the radar game for a lot of people, and with the video posted for this in the PC forum where they make fun of the mainstream/casual gamer, I think its a marketing ploy. I'm not saying its bad, as they're going up against some heavyweights (Halo, Call of Duty) so they're going to need all they can get. Then again, maybe this really is a game meant for the "real" gamers and sales aren't the focus.
In an interview with Joystiq, Gearbox explains that the supply problems are regional. PS3 supply problems on the West Coast and 360 shortages on the east coast. They're working on reallocating units and "working with production and distribution at ramping up to catch up with demand," adding that fresh copies should hit "as early as Thursday or Friday."

Just go to the New Me panel anytime and you can re-spec at any time. It does cost money though.

I'm still early in game, but what's the deal with the extra claptrap robots? There's one hidden on a ledge in the first town. I was able to get on top of a building next to the ledge and the robot would yell "Hey, over here!", but I couldn't make it to him. There was an invisible wall keeping me from jump from the building to the ledge... which I found odd because there was an arrow on top of the building pointing over toward the robot.

I never saw that one. Eventually if you get to those guys you'll get quests to repair them and the reward is additional backpack space, which is very welcome.

Well I got a chance to play this last night, friend brought it over. We started a co-op game that actually glitched out, 10 minutes in.
We were following that robot and it was just frozen there, we could still move around and explore but the robot wouldn't move. Had to exit and 'save' which actually didn't save anything except our guns and ammo we picked up. We had to restart the entire first level and fight through all of the enemies again (easier since we had the guns already) and then it worked the second time through.
So far I'm not impressed at all... buggy games piss me off.

Really it's that easy? I never bothered to us the New Me panel after the beginning as I figured it was just to change colors/names.

I had the same problem, the robot wouldn't open a door to progress the story. After I restarted the game I haven't had a problem.

Ugh.. I hate buggy shit like this. I hope they patch this thing, was thinking about buying it but I'm not going to want to run into bullshit like that halfway through a huge level and then lose my progress.
