Check out some of the gameplay vids and see what you think. It looks a lot more focused on the shooting than fallout 3, and that it'll be a lot faster. Closer to CoD4 type of shooter than Fallout 3.

They did announce DLC today though. Zombie Island of Dr. Ned for "later this year."

Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned (who is not related to Dr. Zed from Fyrestone) does his job a little too well, creating zombies and other abominations that now run rampant in this region. Players will have to work alongside Dr. Ned as they embark on a quest to cure the inhabitants of Jakobs Cove in this full-fledged expansion filled with new enemies, new quests and rare loot drops.

Hmmm... I don't know anybody w/ a 360 to play with so it might not be as fun as I'd like. BUT if we can get a decent amount of ATers to play then it'd be pretty cool methinks.
 
im waiting to see the reviews. i might return ODST to get this game.

i will wait and see though.
 
Huh, one thing I'm seeing is that there's no real 'trading' window or anything. If you feel like trading, you have to drop your gear on the ground and pray the other guy doesn't screw you. Seems like a pretty bad overlook to me.

There isn't really much to trade in the game. Don't think in terms of typical RPGs. Every class can use ever gun, no restrictions. There is no armor. So if someone wants a gun you have, just toss it at him.

I didn't much care for Fallout 3 either, rather dull to me. But Borderlands isn't even comparable. This game will be leaning a lot more on action than atmosphere. I think it will be a lot more fun, and with co-op even more fun.
 
Looking forward to it the more gameplay vids I see. Should be fun. So who's going to be playing this on the 360?

im still 50/50 on it. i will let you know if i get it in the upcoming days. the more i read the better it looks. i just dont want to be dissapointed.

I'm so ready. Solid timing with my fall break so I'm going to be playing all damn day. Hopefully I don't turn crosseyed by the time everybody else can play.
 
A couple friends and I picked this up at midnight and played for a few hours. Its definitely fun, but we hit a major glitch. Enemies stopped attacking us after about an hour of playing. Has anyone else experienced this? Made the game a bit boring.
 
I'm picking it up this afternoon.

I have Thursday off plus the weekend this week and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and the weekend next week to get some play in. I like to grind too.
 
I made a list of all the gamertags so far saying they are playing the game. I am going to try and pick the game up today. so add me to the list
