I've seen one. A sniper in a four man game - totally useless though, it's special was that it fired off 2 more shots 30 degrees left and right. Utterly pointless on a sniper.

That said, Terramorphous ain't Crawmerax - he's not even the toughest known boss in BL2 - and BL2 legendaries are very different from BL1 legendaries, as they are very much tied to specific bosses. You can theoretically get them from anyone, but getting one from something other then it's primary drop is ultra-slim chance even on Terra or Vermi.

I've been trying to get Vermi to spawn but have had no such luck. Best I've gotten is a few Super Badass but not even a single Ultimate. He should be fairly easy to takedown especially with Bee+Maggie. The worst part about Terra is that you can get hit once but after that it's a 1-shot KO deal, not even including the chance to fly off the edge and auto-die. Depending on where you spawn Vermi I imagine you can take cover and that will make the fight a joke. Unless of course you're talking about a different known boss that's tougher than Terra.

I got Vermi 6 times and the bastard never dropped anything for me :(
Best place I found is the farm area in the Thundra Express. There is a quick travel station in the hut underground so makes reloading to keep doing attempts easy too.

Has anyone actually gotten any legendaries from Terramorphous besides the guaranteed class mod? I've killed him four times and only got class mod each time. I remember Crawmerax from BL1 would give me 3-5 legendaries per kill every time.

Me and my friend killed him like 3 dozen times at least and we have only ever gotten the class mod from him. We want his blood to help spawn more Vermi's

That is not what I wanted to hear at all. :(

Anyone know if the Warrior drops 1 legendary 100% of the time? I've killed him twice and first got a Flakker and then got a Conference Call on my second playthrough. I haven't been back to farm him due to his insane amount of hit points but I guess Maggie + The Bee will make it at least tolerable.

IIRC, no he doesn't drop a legendary 100% of the time. I remember I killed him like 10 times in a row and no oranges grrr

Thing about both is they're meant as 4-man bosses. Terra is basically helpless if you're in a group - it just doesn't do it's lethal attacks often enough to kill anybody when you've got pals to get you back up.

Vermi....the main thing about vermi is typically by the time he shows up, you've got 2-3 super or ultimates hanging around with him. Taking cover from just him, probably not too hard, but it's not like Terra where he's usually alone.

Oh, for you guys looking for ultimate class mods, I've been told multiple times they sometimes show up as item of the day in Dr. Zed's machines. I've never seen it - but I've been told that in several places.

Warrior definitely isn't 100% of the time. I've killed that sucker at least 30 times, and never gotten an orange. I'm told it's like bosses in D2 were - first kill you've got very high chances of good loot, but after that, it drops like a rock.

Interesting, maybe this will come with a few patches, primarily patching the damn do no harm quest so I can finally close the damn thing.

I played as Salvadore in Co-Op mode with 2 and 3 friends to Level 25. Then I started singleplayer as Axton (Turret comes in handy when in singleplayer. Saved me so many times). I am at Level 21 now. Enjoying the hell out of this game.

I just wondered what happens when the mainquest is completed? Can you continue to play? Or does it start all over again in a harder mode like Borderlands 1 did?

I can't play anyone else but Maya (and to a lesser extent Axton) so I'm interested to see what Gaige has to offer. I didn't think any game would sideline Guild Wars 2 for me but I haven't logged in since Borderlands 2 came out.

Oh it gets harder alright. :D I'm not normally one to replay content over and over but the harder difficulty really fun in co-op.

So in other words I should complete most of the sidequesting before I finish the mainquestline.

Borderlands 2 is an epic game. Last time i Played this much was Skyrim. However, Skyrim got really boring after 235 hours (according to Steam). Borderlands have much more replay value because of Co-Op VS Skyrim though.

Another funny thing is that I never got into Borderlands 1. I never gave it a real chance, but after playing Borderlands 2 I gave the first Borderlands a chance and I loved it. So I also have that one with all DLC's to play now.

I think Gaige is released today in the US, and rest of the world tomorrow.

Edit: Oh, After playing Salvador the Gunzerker up to about Level 25 in both singleplayer and Co-Op I think he must be the weakest character in this game? That special mode using two weapons at the same time is not very effective because you cant aim and it also has a longer cooldown VS special abilities of the other characters. Axton is very good for singleplayer because of the turret can distract the enemies and do some damage while you regain health or stand in the distance firing at the enemies. I can imagine Gaige will be good with it's robot (Deathtrap) too. I've not tried the Ninja and Maya, but from looking my friends play them in Co-Op they did much better than my Gunzerker. Right now I'm very happy with Axton in Singleplayer.

I believe Gunzerker is really powerful late in the game, especially if you go down the gunlust tree. Problem is with him I think is that the Brawn tree is sorta broken.

I've heard similar things about the gunzerker and I wasn't a fan either. I'm sure I'm missing something with him but I also heard a couple of people that I play co-op say the same things that you have about him.

FWIW if you run BL2 and are prompted about a de-sync between your Steam save and your local save, I'd say make sure you pick the local save. I lost a few hours worth of playtime yesterday from picking the Steam save; I figured if I guessed wrong at worst I'd lose a little progress since the disconnect was really early in the session and only lasted like 30 seconds and was followed by numerous saves/checkpoints/quest completions and such, it appears I was wrong lol as it took me all the way back. I didn't lose anything except some time and progress but still a nuisance.

I also can't help but think the dialog asking you to pick would be much more useful if it provided more detailed "Last Modified" information than just "Today" (timestamp) and if it automatically made a temporary backup of any files it overwrites just in case.

This only applies if you only play on one machine. If so, always choose the local copy. If you play on more than one, you have to remember where you played last. If the current machine, choose local, otherwise always choose Steam. Agreed that this would be an easier decision if the dialog timestamped the saves.

That makes sense actually. However I don't think I've gotten a single orange of any first kill for any other boss in game so either my luck was just shitty with them or it only applies to the Warrior.

The adds with Vermi don't seem like they'd be a big deal. While trying to get him to pop I was able to kill Super varkids in about 2 seconds with Bee/Maggie. That combo is really OP lol. I only have the 6x version though, going to try to farm the 10x version when I get home from class today.

I believe they have started doing this. After having my saves wiped time and time again since I switch from laptop to desktop often, I started saving my files to my SkyDrive. I noticed yesterday that Steam did timestamp the files when asking if I wanted cloud vs local files. I wish they had this before the 5 times I've restarted but seems to be better now.

You people from the US please give som feedback if you get to try out Gaige the Mecromancer today. It will be released here in Europe tomorrow. I Prepurchased the game and will get Mecromancer for free, but have to wait until tomorrow I guess.

I haven't played it but I have a hunch it plays the same as every other character except every 60 seconds you summon a robot that is an Axton turret / Mordecai bloodwing hybrid.

I like the game, but the only thing really different between the characters is their specials :p
