Borderlands 2 release date and preorder

Is this game stable? The first one had rather horrible random crashes that never got fixed. People on steam forums still complain about it to this day. It was only really bad since I could not find a way to quick save or save anywhere. If I didn't hit that checkpoint and it crashed I ended up with a lot of stuff to do over.

I've got 6 hrs. so far, level 7, almost 8, and not even a hint of instability. I never had any problems with B1, also. Different machine.

Edit: There are some posts on steam from people having troubles with freezing and crashes. Seem to be mostly NVIDIA so far.

Edit 2: AMD FX systems are having some problems, too. Some have solved the crashes by updating BIOS.

How is it without post-AA? Have you tried FXAA, how does it look?

wonder how this would run on my 8800gts 320mb =). Borderlands 1 worked great! heh. Might be time for an upgrade...I would be skipping like 10 generations lol.

I couldn't resist. I pre-ordered Borderlands 2 + the Season pass I figured since I've quit smoking I'm saving alot of money. So can spend on games.

Besides, Borderlands 2 looks so cool

can you still preorder? whats the best version of the game to buy? I see there is a 5th playable class that you have to pay for if you dont preorder. So taht might force my hand here.

another question...if anyoen can chime in. I loved the hunter and used Pistols primarily in the first one. Is there a class thats closest to hunter in this? And uses pistols?

If you pre-order you get some extra content/loot for free. Also an extra character for free download when available.

If you buy Season pass you will get the 4 coming DLC's, as they become available for the price of the Season pass.

I live in Norway. And in my Steam it says release on 21 of September. I pre-purchased it yesterday. Same with Torchlight II, also pre-purchased that one. And also has release on 21 of September.

My worthless 2 cents: I have mine set to medium, and I don't notice anything.

It is highly likely that I don't have something set up right somewhere else though, I haven't really done any research on it.
