Thanks! Still working as of ~5 minutes ago. I think they are X-number-of-uses keys this week so you can't know when they'll expire.

Anyone else done the slaughterhouse missions? I just finished round 5 of the Bandit version in the Fridge and the assault rifle looked nice except...it fires bullets at about a 45 degree upward angle...totally useless.

So, I was always amazed at how good the pistol Law seemed to be, and it's just as ridiculous on the Mechromancer. Then it dawned on me... it's so good for the Mechromancer, because it doesn't suffer accuracy reductions (I believe only when zooming/ironsights), which means... all those anarchy stacks don't do jack to it, and it has a high accuracy to begin with.

EDIT:

After some further testing, I don't think it's as immune as I initially expected. It's still ridiculously powerful (probably because it fires so quickly), but it's a tad inaccurate around 200 stacks of anarchy. :p

Law is a very good pistol at the level you get it simply because the damage blows everything else at that range out of the water. It's also a Jakobs which are highly accurate and lets you fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. I think you can farm a higher level version from

I've not tried her yet. They say she is overkill. I don't wanna ruin my gameplay using her.

I have 11 golden keys now. If I use golden keys I always write protect my profile.bin file, go in-game, open the chest, then out again, remove the write protection, then in-game again.

This way you can get the loot without actually using the golden keys.

However, I always sell my golden chest loot. I don't want to spoil gameplay by using this equipment. Anyway, not always you get great things, which will suit your character, from that chest. Sometimes you can get 3-mods for 3 classes, and maybe one of them suits your class. And even then the mod is not better for you than what you had. Sometimes you can get grenade mods, sometimes 3 relics, 3 shields, 3 pistols, or whatever.. However, if you have many keys, you will get some good weapons sooner or later. If you do as I and writeprotect profile.ini you can still keep your golden keys. This means you can at least have a look at the loot without wasting your keys.

I don't think Gaige is overkill, but I definitely play her a lot differently than everyone else. She actually reminds me the most of playing Borderlands 1 where you could run and gun a lot, which then takes me back to the days of playing Unreal Tournament and Quake III. That's a good thing... cause that was awesome. If I wanted to hide behind cover and snipe everything, I'd play goddamn Rainbow Six! :p

Eh, I don't feel like using out-of-game cheats to get more loot. Sure, I'll use the Armory terrain exploit in Borderlands 1, but that's different as it's abusing in-game mechanics. :p

I have 6 or 7 keys, but I'm too cheap to use them. Especially after I used my first key and didnt see anything good in there.

You can use the "write protect profile.bin" trick just to check out some of the loot. As said, it's very random. But I think I've always seen only purple loot. Maybe a couple of blue ones (Which is not as good as purple). Can't remember though.

I feel it would be cheating using golden chest loot without actually spending the keys. So the times I have writeprotected that file, it was just to look at the loot. Not used it for my characters.

I think it's much more exciting to find loot after killing bosses.

Thank you! I think I have 10 keys saved up now. Now, if only I could stick with one character long enough to finish one play through. My Assassin is lvl 32, almost finished I think. I should probably stick it out and at least see the completion of the story.
