So it never crossed your mind that the woman was full of shit and this became apparent to authorities the minute the claims were investigated?:confused:

Of course, she wasn't even old enough to drink but was in a bar drinking. That obviously means that she is a credible person right off the bat, why would you actually need to know anything more to take her side?

This is one of those times, you just laugh at the news story because you just know its a sham. There is little doubt Big Ben is the only rape predator, who was caught and never spent a day in court, let alone jail. And more irony, he gets suspended for 6 games lol, then that gets reduced to 4 games. Why? Because he didn't rape anyone for a month so he gets 2 games less. He is the biggest joke walking free in society today.

Oh shit--I was going to say OJ, but I guess he is in jail....not for murder, though.

He should be in jail b/c he's a murderer.

Pacman Jones, Michael Pittman...they aren't in jail, right? They fucking should be.

I'm not sure what his suspension has to do with anything. He was never convicted of a crime. There wasn't even a basis for the suspension in the first place.

Yes there was. Conduct detrimental or embarrassing to the league. It's the NFL commish's sole discretion as to how those are legislated. Even if he didn't rape anyone (and only Steeler fans believe he didn't), he put himself in a position that embarrasses the league, and paid the price.

Plus he added to his already douchebag legend. He's probably one of the least respected players in the NFL.

I'm sure wearing a shirt that said "I like to fuck" on it didn't help her case either.

Yeah, so like I said, the suspension has nothing to do with what classy is saying. He wasn't suspended for raping someone, therefore the shortening of his suspension is unrelated as well.

Which is bullshit any way, ask the other steelers like Palamalu or James Harrison. This country isn't draconian, why should the NFL be?

I'm the exact opposite of a Steeler fan, I fucking hate the steelers.

I'm not saying he did or didn't rape her, I don't know - and you don't know either

I took that as meaning you thought he had no reason to be suspended at all. I was correcting you.

Of course I don't know. I wasn't there. However, I am able to draw my own conclusions in the court of public opinion just like everyone else does.

I also believe OJ was guilty.
I also believe Mark Mcguire and Roger Clemons used steroids.

I dunno, make all the jokes you want, I find them funny, but don't come in here talking about hating the guy when in reality you have no idea what actually took place that night.

There are compelling arguments from both sides.

My personal opinion is that the girl is a floozy and a slut. She followed him to at least two bars with every intention of having sex with him. She was a willing participant up until some point when she decided not to be. Ben was probably incredibly intoxicated as well and she says "no", and he thinks saying "its ok, it'll be ok" somehow makes her agree to proceed.

Bottom line, at least in my opinion, is that Ben needs to seriously re-evaluate his lifestyle. I don't think he is a predatory rapist. This girl has just as many character flaws as Ben does.

I doubt you'll find a single intelligent human being that will disagree with you on this one. But there is a huge difference in what facts were available to the public plus the facts released after the trial for that crime, and what information is publicly available in the Rossincheeseburger trial. Which clearly there are not enough facts on.

Personally, I'm always leery to believe women in these cases. Kobe Bryant, Rothlisberger, any of them. But this one especially had a lot of red flags.

OJ had to defend himself in court dumbass. Pacman Jones all but lost his career. I don't even know what the fuck Pittman did. This dirty POS never spent one day in court, not one. I haven't read it, but apparently when reading the police report many can't understand how he was not charged. He is dirty scum sucking rapist. And I hope one day he ends up like Joe Theisman.

Probably natey, but the girl isn't a "public figure" like Ben is. I've never heard of Tom Brady or most other leaders of NFL teams out pulling crap like this. Fact is, regardless of what happened, Ben is an incredibly immature douchebag with money. I don't respect him at all, and I don't know many people that do.

If you read the police report, i think you'd have a hard time not coming to the conclusion that Ben went over the line. I mean, he had his two bodyguards standing in front of the bathroom door not letting anyone in and when her friends tried to go in because they were concerned for her, they wouldn't let them. That and the security tape was erased, LOL.

Leave it to Classy to play a thinly veiled race card even though both fuckers in the story are white.

I guess it depends on your values or morals. Living in Denver, John Elway is a legend - but I have met him, and know dozens of people that have and more. I know someone who works at a very upscale Hotel downtown, she see's him all the time - in the bar picking up escorts and taking them to a room, or even just random girls. This is only one story too.

The guy is a douche in most peoples eyes who have met him, personally I know he is a jerk but most people like him are IRL. Elway just doesn't get caught and keeps a good opinion in the media somehow.

I don't really look at Elway cheating on his wife constantly as a bad thing, I would sleep with dozens of hotties too if I was him. But some would argue that its a lot worse then just sleeping with girls when you're single. Was she underage? Yea but how was he supposed to know that. I don't buy the rape story one bit, she shouldn't of put herself in that situation then.

well Ben certainly hasn't stopped raping, his most recent victim was the Browns, yet again.

I was just thinking - that picture on the front page, "Local heroes", would be hilarious if it wasn't the Browns. The Browns are as big a joke as the Lions. They came close to building a good team once, and then gave it to Baltimore. They'll never win a god damn thing, ever.

No argument from me on any of those points. I can't imagine what we don't know that occurs in the seedy underbelly of professional sports :)

I just think Ben is a douche and an overrated quarterback, so I take any opportunity I can to bash him :)

Hey, that pic was all I could find on such short notice.

Did you guys hear that they released photos of the outfits the bridesmaids will be wearing?

Actually that doesn't prove anything other than the girls friends were grenades trying to cock block.

For the record, the Browns didn't "give" anything to Baltimore. The Browns packed up and left for Baltimore. Big difference ;)

Their current situation isn't nearly as bad as their record might indicate. All 3 quarterbacks were plagued with injuries all year, and oftentimes, the decision as to which one to start boiled down to little more than each one's current health status. Delhomme is a dud, no question about it - but both McCoy and Wallace shown good signs of hope and progress, though the cold weather does seem to impact McCoy's performance.

Three losses can literally be attributed to one man: Eric Wright. He has been the sorriest excuse for a Cornerback I've ever seen, and for three games straight, teams won solely by keying in on him.

Next year could be a very different story for the Browns.

LOL...jaded much? You have absolutely no respect for women whatsoever...I'd wager there's more than few roofie-colada recipes in your collection and would put a date-rape or two in your past from your comments...
