If you were a good hearted person you'd have empathy for him as you know what it's like to face dissapointment and devastation on a daily basis.
Empathy? His team went 18-1 this season while continually and intentionally running up the score against lesser opponents. Why should anyone feel sorry for him? Yeah, losing the Super Bowl was a disappointing loss but if they had won would you tell Tom Coughlin that everything is hunky-dory because the Patriots were not disappointed? They won 18 games this season, how is that not an accomplishment? It's not this sole incident, it's the fact that Belichick has been the same way the whole season. Would it be okay if Tom Coughlin acted like a prick just because his team didn't have as good of a record? Empathy my ass.
I don't feel a bit bad. Someone had to lose and you can't pity either team because it was them. That's sports. That's competition.
I agree. its a game. someone has to lose. i don't feel bad for them. same way i don't feel bad for the teams the pats beat and "ran the score up".
anyway it was a good game.
