I dont think you're a mod.
Yur sarcasm meter should have been issued to you upon assignment.
For me:
Poets of the Fall.
I know a lot of folks have heard of them, but I dont think they are as big as they should be.
Bah, I thought the sarcastic responses were covered a few posts ago and we had moved on to serious responses only.
Ah well, fail by me.

to the person who said jimmy eat world.
um, what?
They got mildly popular based on one of their worst songs of all time, which was part of their weakest album, then (as far as I can tell) faded back into obscurity. Hell, the local rock station just played something from their new album during their "edge of the X" session. Which means the Clear Channel-owned station considers JEW an up-and-coming band on the fringe of becoming well-known.
Or are you arguing that they shouldn't be big because they aren't good? If that's the case, well, you're entitled to your opinion.
Jimmy Eat World has multiple new songs in regular rotation on both the local Clear Channel rock station and the local independent station, and three or four older songs in occasional rotation on the same stations. Their last album was produced by Butch Vig, who is probably one of the top five most expensive and most respected producers in rock music (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, etc). They are headlining an arena tour and have Paramore opening for them, who are already a wildly popular MTV and radio staple in their own right. Hardly obscurity. They aren't up there with U2 or Dave Matthews Band, but they are comfortably in the next tier of fame.
