It's 70ºf outside... I might have a cigar this weekend. Unless I go to the GS @ Alabama game

That is a mythical ability.

Bull fucking shit. Women like men they can trust. It's so easy to turn that around to a intiment relationship. I think guys who say it's not possible just don't have the courage to even try.

Each one of my last few relationships have been of this nature. Only one did the break up go so bad that we don't talk.

When I was in high school (both junior and senior years), I noticed a really cute (most said very striking and pretty) staring at me in class. She was 2 years younger than I.

Pretty soon, rumors started to spread that she liked me. I didn't believe it -- well, OK, I was pretty sure it was true but I couldn't make myself believe it.

So one day, some friends were talking to me about prom (I didn't want to go) but I mentioned if I did decide to go, I'd probably ask her. Well, I think it got back to her because a few days later, she started talking to me about my prom plans. I told her I really didn't know what I was going to do and she said "Well you know, you have to ask someone soon because she'll need time to pick out a dress, etc."

To this day, nearly 23 years later, I still hate myself for not giving it a shot. Remember kiddies, you'll forgive yourself for opportunities you took advantage of that didn't work out, but you will never, ever forgive yourself for missed opportunities.

I spent most of HS learning to hate myself. Something that has become deeply ingrained in the makeup of my personality and something that I must unlearn, though it is very difficult to do so.
