I call Zuckerberg when I need my passwords.

Between the Zuck and NSA, I don't even really need to backup anything, they have it all already!

Seriously though, NSA, CSIS etc should provide a service where if you lost something you can call them and pay to get a full data dump of everything they have on you between a certain date, all decrypted. Government could make money off that. Basically anything you downloaded or uploaded on the internet they would have a copy of it. They already have it anyway, may as well monetize it! I imagine they already do that though but with advertisers.

I just broke my zero 2021 Amazon order streak.

Bought a 3kw 24v Giandel inverter that has good reviews, for $598.85. Inverters in that price range usually catch on fire if you try to run over 1kw on them and I typically would avoid Amazon for this sort of thing but it has good reviews and it looks legit. I will test a lot of big loads on it when I get it. If it fails the test I will return it within the return period.

This will replace the one in my shed so I can put the 350w one in my portable power pack which is what I'll use on my off grid property for the time being until I put in a much larger system there. Goal of shed one is to have a backup power source for the house. If ever I actually do move to the off grid property then I'd take that with me. That won't happen for a while anyway...

I'll find out. Will need to put it through some tests. It has more good reviews than bad including people who have successfully ran a microwave off it. The true test will be a mitre and table saw though. I will put this thing through it's paces. At 3000w if it can't run a 1800w load then it's getting returned.

Amazon is full of fake reviews. Read the bad ones first.

That's like double the price... though it's good to know Digikey does sell inverters, never thought of checking there. Meanwell is probably more reputable than whatever that Chinese brand is lol.

Everything is slower and more difficult to accomplish in Oregon. I blame legal pot and long term brain damage.

I just witnessed the perfect f u, I’m big moment. A double trailered quarry haul truck pulled out into a busy highway with no concern at all for the brake slamming on the part of all the vehicles he cut off. Semi and compact alike enjoyed equal consideration.

My IBC adapters just came in, unfortunately the threads don't seem to be compatible at all. Was only able to find one part in NPT and the other in NPS but the site said they should still mate. They don't. It threads to some point then stops and it's not far enough to make the seal. Well this sucks. I may need to get medieval and just start gluing and epoxying stuff to basically make my own adapters.

Worse case scenario maybe I will forget having a gravity fed system and will just use a pump from the top. Too hard to adapt these weird threads to regular plumbing fittings.

I realized something today i never before thought about:
Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein both came out in the same year.

sounds like me with motorcycles. I figure they can deftly swerve to avoid if needed. :smirk:
