I'm betting that the OP's wife's speculations are in part at least fueled by the fact that the woman in question wants nothing to do with her.

It's entirely possible. All I'm saying is that if i said "I saw soandso breakdancing in his driveway!" it's not spying. The OP mentioned seeing them in the open (IE: not inside the house) holding hands. That's not spying either. IMO, of course.

yeah but we're not talking about break dancing or loud, disruptive events here. We're talking about someone who appears to be regularly monitoring their neighbors.I'm sorry but it's weird.

Yeah that way you won't have to face the consequences if you are wrong. You sound more like a cowardly POS and any kind of "MAN".

I'll tell you the kind of MAN I am. I'll show up at your door to let you know that *I* have been screwing your wife, and I'd hand you the pictures to prove it.
Sorry, she's not into skeevy little Nerds.

And I'm not into leather bags.

Oh, come on!

Right about now you're probably *wishing* that someone would come over to have a fling with you, nosy neighbor or not. You can be my sugar momma, and I'll be your Louis Vitton.

I'll dress Red up in a gimp outfit and let him hold the MiniDV camcorder.

you're totally out of line here and I expect an apology.

I think it would be hilarious, if it turns out, to be a relative, her brother, or someone else like that, and there is no affair going on at all. Now how you gonna feel for medling?

That would be a "no harm" sitatution. The same if they are swingers, he will get the note, not give a crap and move on. If it's a cousin, same thing happens. Honestly the two nightmare situations the MYOB crowd have posted basically have the consequences of making the OP look a little silly. Big freaking whoop.

if I had a neighbor who approached me with something like this and they stood there rattling off data they'd collected about the comings and goings to my home,I'd file formal complaint with whoever was in charge of the housing situation. As long as a person's activities are not loud or dangerous they have the right to go about their lives free from visits from busybody neighbors.

With all the heightened public awareness of "stalking" I'd say the best move one can make is to myob.

And the housing authority would do absolutely nothing to that neighbor. And no one suggested he rattle of data he's collected. Just a note or picture saying that someone has been coming around while you weren't here. I value my privacy as well, but I also don't do anything in my front yard that I don't mind other people seeing. If you come and tell me you have a problem with me walking my dog in my robe, I'm not going to call you a stalker. If you tell me you've seen me not clean up after my dog on several occasions, again you're not stalking.

I don't want my neighbors spying on me, however........ if my wife walks out my driveway, in public, holding some dude's hand, some guy that regularly visits while I'm away on deployment.....I better hear about it, and I'm quite sure I would understand if it were something like my brother, or cousin for crying out loud.

Thats how I'd want it to go down for me, and thats my standard for how I would treat it if it were someone else.

You should definitely tell the guy. The people who keep saying MYOB are without morals.

Hardly. There are few things more immoral than being a busybody and in everyone else's business. He is NOT his neighbor's keeper, baby setter, or moral compass. He is NOT the local morality police. It is NOT his business.

People like that wife who screw around behind their trusting spouses backs are scumbags. Why should he help her keep her secret when he openly sees it, knows what's going on, and doesn't think it's right?

I'm not saying that he has a right to know what goes on behind closed doors, but he can surely talk about what he's witnessed outside.

You seem to support the enabling of people who are doing something sneaky. Are you the type of guy that would screw around with a married woman while her husband is deployed? Would you feel that that's right to do?

He is not helping anyone do anything. It's none of his business. They are not friends, nor family. In fact, his post makes it clear they didn't want to be friends with him.

I support nothing here but people's privacy.

What I would, or would not do or condone is irrelevant. It's not my, or his business.

public domain once they are in public view... lolz if they want to be private keep it in the house, motel room, meet somewhere...

it's kinda jacked up cause if we were caught committing adultery while we were in the armed forces, that would constitute a serious offense to include dishonerable discharge, loss of rank, etc... even jail time (depending on the CO)...

that's not to say that i've seen quite a bit of service members (of both sex) easily cheat on their spouses (civilians and non)... military+marriage+deployment = 98% failure...

-JR

BTW.... no one mentioned but... :camera:'s ??

This MYOB bullshit is just that, bullshit.

How can you tell the OP to not say anything? Would all of you 'MYOB' posters really NOT want to know if your wife or your husband was fvcking someone else behind your back? Yea right. Don't give sh!tty advice to other people.

As I said before, the OP should definitely step in and do something about the situation. He is out of the country, and his wife has totally fvcked their marriage up, and I don't think it is fair to the husband to continue on without knowing his wife is a heartless whore.

Because -- for all any of us here know -- the husband is already aware of the situation and approves. No, really... maybe he does. Maybe he told her, go ahead, cause he plans on grabbing whatever he can overseas. We don't know. So, in the meantime, what they do is none of ours (or the OP's) fsckin' business.

Even worse, what if the OP is wrong? What if it's just a family friend dropping by? You don't know, no one knows, so in the meantime, the immorality is to jump to conclusions and judge other peoples' private lives, thus spreading unneeded dissent and strife in this world.

MYOB. If more people did, the world would be a better place.

OK. It seems as though many people here have a problem because he is an outside observer. I understand this point of view.

To the people who say MYOB: Would you tell a friend if you found out their girlfriend/wife was cheating on them? What about a coworker?

Would it be so bad when the neighbor comes back and you see him outside, just to mosey(sp?) on over and just shoot the sh1t and while doing so, just mention that you saw alot of people coming and going. That's as much as needs to be said. If he says he knows, then let it drop. Otherwise, if he was unaware and wanted more info, then just tell him what you seen. I don't see how this is prying, judging, or any other crap the MYOB crowd are crying about.

MYOB. If more people did, the world would be a better place.

Nonsense. I grew up in a rural community and sure "wished" my folks didn't get a phone call everytime one of the neighbors spotted me out causing trouble....sure glad they did now.

Too bad communities weren't more like that now. I know we ran a bunch of punks renting a house in our neighborhood out because the neighbors didn't tolerate their BS and we stuck our noses in those bastards business EVERY DAMN DAY.

Keep your damn dirty business out of the pubic eye if you want it private, I'm not going to be your "cover".......then maybe the world would be a better place.

You don't know jack. Unless you've seen them getting it on with your own eyes, or unless you've heard her say she's cheating, you're just guessing. It may be an accurate guess, but don't go messing in someone's marriage based on a guess.

When you see them doing it out on the lawn, then you're obligated to let him know. Until then, say nothing.

You're insinuting there IS dirty business going on. That is pure speculation, at this point. Nothing proven.
