No not really . Who am I to judge GOD. Lets talk about Judgement a little.

The HRCC AUTHOR of the new testement as we know it. Created SAINTS . People that go to heaven because of their lifes example. Yet Christ the foundation of the HRCC . OR is he???? Christ as example said Judge not least ye be judged. Seems to me the Church that delievered into all modern churches the new testment. Was lieing right from the start. After all it was Ceaser of ROME who resided over what went on . and whos words were heard.

I believe, I just don't believe in religion and all its rules. The way Christmas has been commercialized and de-God'd, you don't even need to anymore. I can't even begin to point out how sacrilegous Santa and flying reindeers are.

That is part of American culture and traditions. I am Latin American, and a lot of us still give priority to the birth of Jesus than to Santa Claus, the reindeer and the Christmas tree. I'm sure a lot of you will agree with this.

Wait, there are Non Catholic Latin Americans?

I am Catholic.

I never said I was Christian...

Christmas is imposed on everyone here in the US, so I just go along for the ride. If you limit Christmas to one day, and take out all the gifts and non-religious festivities, then it'll be a different issue.

Now that I think about it, shouldn't true believers fight to restore dignity to Christmas? They should boycott "Christmas" shopping, gifts, trees, Frosty, etc. It would be bad for the economy though.

ALL modern Christians have the same basic fault but 1 group. THat beingthe Mormons,
No I am not a mormon. but I did read smiths book . It does lbring up some very interesting questions tho as to . HOW in the Hell did a 12 year old do this.

The thing is Ceaser of rome over saw what books and things went into the new testment. Also the trinity question was accepted. Something Christ never taught . This was added by ROME to create division and it did. When it in fact does not matter . ALL it shows is the deception. SO if the foundation is weak and lie replaces the trueth . The trueth is lost and only the lie remains. Your not going to find everthing Christ said and did in the book of Rome.

Arcadio,

masturbation is a sin. I bet you have sinned. Have you gone to confession yet? If not, you have a seat waiting in hell.

Me though? I think I will turn into fertilizer for some trees. I win in the long term.

I'm not religious. When I was a kid, Christmas was about Santa Claus, Rudolph, Frosty, decorating trees, singing songs and giving/receiving gifts. I had no clue that there was a religious element to it at all and I was perfectly happy with it. When I realized it was a religious holiday, to be honest without offense, I was bored of the Nativity story; it was just another Christmas story to me and next to Frosty coming alive and sugar plum fairies, it was not nearly as entertaining.

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life

Hate to break it to you, but Christmas, the holiday that 99% of America celebrates, isn't a Christian holiday anymore. Sure, there are those that celebrate the Christian end of it by attending Church and all that jazz, but for most people Christmas is a non-denominational celebration of consumption.

No need to be religious to enjoy giving and receiving gifts and / or putting up a tree.

It's about buying presents and gifts, a commercial holiday by the pagans, for the pagans. Quit trying to make everything religious, and YES I DO BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUS!

How do you figure that? 😕

And as to the OP: No, I don't.

Christmas is all about paid time off for me. That's countered with having to visit with family I don't like and be fake happy with them.

But then there's also another excuse to eat Honeybaked ham, which is amazing.

I appreciate christmas for what it is, an overly marketed commercial holiday that makes a good excuse to spend time with friends and family

I'm an atheist, I guess, and I still celebrate Xmas. It's a very good reason to get together with family, and show them how much you care about them. But then so is any given weekend.
