only thing that jumped out at me as having a robe/kilt and being super easily solo'able:

http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=376

the wowhead transmog set listing is pretty good for browsing armor, but most of the other caster-y leather sets I saw dropped in raids (ymmv on solo'ing)

I'm a bear druid I can solo most nongimmicky fights in raids from BC. The only thing I know I cannot do is kael in TK.

EDIT: I think I found a decent set. I kind of want to get the Naxx 10 set for druids but this will do for now. Its druid T9 Alliance. Need a new staff to transmog though.

Thanks for the suggestions a couple of months ago, guys. I'm raking in the money with jewelcrafting and enchanting.

Uncut Inferno Rubies sell for 200g a pop on my server, and I get them pretty often.

Are there any other easy to use gear optimizers out there besides RAWR? I don't believe it to be accurate for Ret. I'll most likely only end up using LFR every now and then so looking at these BiS lists does me no good :(

so what do you guys think of the new darkmoon stuff?

kinda fun i think! the arena is crazy, even when the chest isnt there..havent dared to enter it yet lol.

the island is pretty cool, and the stuff Rona Greenteeth sells is funny, and icky at the same time.

I think the shooting range game is utter trash and implemented insanely poorly, but the rest are fun enough and I enjoy doing them.

yeah, i got the achievement for that one purely by luck, and not sure i would want to play it again. the turtle ring toss was annoying too...i wanted to punch that little turtle!!! seemed pretty random even with the targeting.

overall a good time tho.

if they didnt make it an absurd amount of tickets to get all the pets/mounts compared to how fast they give them out, it would have been a decent update.

Try SimulationCraft.

I found the turtle easy to do if you just wait for him to stop moving for about a second. Sometimes he may jolt around again after a brief stop, but it's pretty rare.

EDIT:

Overall, I found the cannon a bit annoying as it took awhile to get the exact right timing (but I did get a bulls eye). The target shooting wasn't hard, but the tonks game seemed buggy. More often than not, I'd hit fire while facing a target and nothing would happen. I hit fire again, and I'd destroy the target.

The dungeon and battleground idol quests are monthly you can get 145 tickets per month.

Went looking some stuff last night and the wikis said that the dungeon/raidd/pvp ones are a one time only deal.

Also sucked big ones that the 600 some tickets I already have became vendor fodder.

Sucks a big one that my already exalted status with DMF means absolutely jack shit.

Oh wow... apparently a lot of high-end guilds are getting annihilated with the ban hammer for exploiting some Looking For Raid loot bug.

You think they would learn after the Saronite Bomb fiasco.

EDIT:

Hmm some people might be crying wolf as it seems they are still online, but who knows what will happen.

looks like lots of people in top guilds got handed 3-8 day bans because of this.

the bitching is pretty comicial TBH

Isn't it kind of funny that the people did this to try to get a leg up in the heroics race, but will now be a few days or possibly an entire raiding week behind? :p

Yep, it's fucking hilarious imo. The whining is priceless.

That's the price you pay gambling on an exploit. I was on Ysondre when Exodus exploited Freya to get world first Yogg+0. They got I think a week off and their world first achieve removed. They honestly took it all in stride. TBH Exodus was probably the nicest high end guild I ever met and most of them were really nice and talked with the plebs when I played over there ran a weekly GDKP etc.

I think Ensidias LK exploit was hilarious, people were freaking out and they barely got a slap on the wrist for it. How did they not expect to get caught though? This happens every tier and every tier they get slapped back in line.

Stars got locked out for an extra week on heroic modes after they tried to server transfer to get an early raid lockout on Rag H. Every single tier.

Mentioning the Lich King makes me feel a bit disappointed over this raiding tier (and all of Cataclysm's raids in general). It might be partly due to the gating of Icecrown Citadel, but ICC definitely seemed harder overall. Of course, it also has 50% more bosses than Dragon Soul, and a much better ending cinematic. :p

I saw a comment that Boub made (awhile back) on twitter about Deathwing testing, and he commented that they tested the Lich King on the PTR. I thought that Blizzard specifically never tested the Lich King on the PTRs before ICC's release. Is that right?

I don't remember them testing LK. I never PTR test much anyway so they may have. I will say though that raiding ICC never got old for me. Even facerolling normals to go do LK attempts before we had killed him, I enjoyed it the entire time. I haven't gotten that this entire expansion. Raiding feels like work rather than fun for me now. Maybe that me getting older or maybe its something with the raids I dunno it is what it is.

LK was not on the PTR, i dont think Sind was either

ICC while really well done i simply did not enjoy as much as Uld, i imagin TOGC burnout was the reason for that

ToGC was what really killed WoW for me and prompted me to quit for a year.

4 different raids, all of which take place in the same room with no trash, was a little mind-numbingly boring.

I thought that was the case. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say that it lead to longer dungeon finishes for guilds as guilds got stuck on plenty of different bosses, but it seems tons of guilds beat Dragon Soul on the first week and if not defeated, they at least got 4/8. My guild only did 4 hours last week and went 6/8.

I think Ulduar benefited from all the variety that it had. Each watcher had their own distinct looking areas. I think that helps a lot since one of the largest complaints I hear from guildies is that they simply get tired of looking various shades of a single color during each raid. ICC is was varying shades of blue and Firelands is varying shades of red. It's like playing a FPS where they seem to create each level with own a brown palette. Oh wait, that is every modern day FPS! ;)

It's interesting, because no one really seems to like trash, but ToC usually garners complaints about having no trash. I wonder if people really don't mind the lack of trash, but that the instance inherently feels cheap by only being in one room (until Anub'arak).

I think the new heroics are somewhat boring because of the trash. The trash may hit hard, but they don't last long. So, they end up feeling more like speed bumps than anything. In that case, I'd rather they just remove the trash and let us walk up to each boss, kill and collect loot.

Of course there's also the "retard check" trash pulls like the huge molten demon thing before Pero'tharn/Magtheridon in Well of Eternity.

there is a balance with trash

MC had too much trash - once you got figured it out it was easy, there were just 2000 pulls
BWL had the right amount, it was annoying as f trash but it the number of pulls was tiny compared to MC
Orig Naxx trash was well balanced as well

Kara trash was just stupid and unbalanced for a long time
SSC prob had the worst trash on release of any raid
TK was so so
BT had a lot of trash but at least it varied and dropped a ton of loot
Sunwell trash sucked,

80 Naxx was a joke trash didnt matter
OS was fine
Maly had none
Uld was about pefect for trash, (not counting before FL) not a ton of pulls but there were enough to break it up well
TOGC just plain sucked as it was an afterthought
ICCs trash was fine, other then the really buggy dudes before morrowgar that would sometimes randomly become active in the middle of the fight

Small tale of win:

I was fiddling around on my level 75 JC last night and noticed there were no brilliant inferno rubies on the AH, so I finished my third JC daily and bought the recipe with my first three tokens, cut 5 of them, and then listed and immediately sold them at 500g a pop :awe:

Again, thanks for the JC suggestion, guys. It's been amazing.
