I came home and the patch seemed to work fine for me... given I wasn't here, I had no idea how long it took. Although, looking at the log in Logs\Blizzard Updater Log.html and Logs\3.3.X to 4.0.XWLK Install Log.html, my patch didn't take too long...

Took about 19 minutes for the entire thing.
I was poking around at builds for my (Enhancement) Shaman and I'm considering...
http://cata.wowhead.com/talent#hbhZffG0s0hRGo:qkRVrdM0m
The only things I'm still unsure about are Acuity vs Concussion and for Major Glyphs: Totemic Recall vs Ghost Wolf. The thing about Acuity vs Concussion is that both don't give a lot of damage per point. Enhancement Shamans cannot get the talent to provide +100% damage on spell crit, so our crits aren't as powerful, which makes Acuity weaker. To provide an estimated benefit of acuity, consider that each point provides (1% * PERCENT_OF_PHYSICAL_DAMAGE) + (.5% * PERCENT_OF_MAGIC_DAMAGE) bonus damage. Concussion will boost Flame Shock (DD and DoT), Earth Shock and Lightning Bolt.
Okay, I don't know if the PTR is up, so I just read my Recount LUA file to pull the data from my dummy tests.
FT = 350178 phys (can crit)
SF = 103159 fire (can crit)
Melee = 1848019 phys (can crit)
LL = 431584 phys (can crit)
LB = 179886 nature (can crit)
FS = 73063 fire (can crit)
LS = 117946 nature (can crit)
FS_DOT = 210459 fire (can crit)
SS = 557327 phys (can crit)
ES = 259272 nature (can crit)
TOTAL:
350178 + 103159 + 1848019 + 431584 + 179886 + 73063 + 117946 + 210459 + 557327 + 259272 = 4130893
CONCUSSION AFFECTS...:
179886 + 73063 + 210459 + 259272 = 722680
722680/4130893 = 17.49%
Given the low value of ~20%, each point of Concussion is only worth .4% boost in damage. So, I guess I should be going 3/3 Acuity and 2/3 Concussion for right now (since I need to hit 81 for my next point).
Well, now that I have numbers, I can also try and factor in how powerful Acuity actually is! But first, when looking over these numbers, it seems we have an odd value. Lightning Shield has an oddly high crit rate as I had 88047 crits out of 117946 procs. I divided melee crits / overall melee attacks and I got 77.87%, which is very close to the 74.65% that I get for Lightning Shield. This doesn't affect the boosted value as it appears to still be 50%, but it's an interesting factor regardless.
Given the numbers above, the magic damage totals 1195483 out of the 4130893, which is 28.94%. So, that means Acuity should give us a .8553% boost per talent point, which makes it nearly twice as good as Concussion.
As for the Major glyphs... we don't have a single Major glyph that is worthwhile to get for DPS. I chose Hex for dungeons, Stoneclaw for helping to mitigate damage and I was considering either Totemic Recall, which I think would work well solo or in dungeons, or Ghost Wolf, which would just be nice for any situation that might require running (given we'll have instant-cast Ghost Wolf and it can be used indoors).
EDIT:
So UI changes... we'll get a built-in spellalert... does it alert for enemy casters?
Is it going to be as cheese-tastic as the built-in damage numbers?
The alert only alerts you to your own procs such as Maelstrom Weapon (x5).
EDIT 2:
Woops, I forgot the Healing Stream Totem major glyph... that one is actually really nice, and I'll probably use that instead.
