Of course not. I said that their methods are immoral, but they do have a legit cause. They're oppressed based on racial/ethnic background and Israel won't budge. You can't expect the Palestinians to just lie back & take it.

They stole the land of the Jewish people, and they should go back from where they came from. All that land is holy land for the Jews, and the Palestines, for one reason or another, think they have some claim to it. They teach their children to be proud to become a suicide-bomber. I've read interviews with Palenstine children who say they hope to live to a certain age (I cant remember the exact age) so they can strap a bomb to themselves to kill some Jewish people.

Aren't ALL Jews required to join the military at age 18? How is that different than the suicide bombers signing up at a certain age? Israeli's blow up civilians with Helicopter gunships, which is so much more just than suicide bombers, right?

Both sides are about as F'd up as you can be. Ain't religeon great!

How can you even compare a suicide bomber to someone shooting a gun? Israeli's don't purposely blow up a school bus of children like Palenstians do.

I've been to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and if you think that men and women are equal on those societies you are sorely deluding yourself. It's very likely your female Muslim friends are cheerleading stuff back home because it is home in their hearts, instead of the unvarnished truth.

In Pakistan, only a few thousand people were allowed to vote before Benazir Bhutto's father came into power - male or female. Though the law allowed for women to vote, go to school and seek employment, the society is still such that serious, professional educations are extremely rare, and the few women who do work are the ones in ladylike positions. They're nowhere near gender equity.

I agree with you on Saudi.(had family that lived there..even my Hindu aunt had to wear a Hijab when she went out), but in Pakistan females have much better opportunities. Sure most of them contend to family life, but its like that in India (and other more family-oriented countries). Also most of the Pakistani doctors I've met are females (dunno why..but I guess they love medicine).

Also, Pakistan probably does teach better history, I beleive they use the British system (A levels, O levels, etc..) and the education (alteast math, science, history) is better than public Canadian (well Ontario) high school education.

You must be SERIOUSLY kidding. I agree with you on the jobs part, but professional eduction for females is very common. All the medical and business schools have more females then men.

Hell, if I found out some sick fvck strapped a bomb to himself and blew up my child along with a busload of school children I'd hop on a helicopter and do the same.
