No. No I didn't. It was a shitstorm of slime from both sides. It's not my problem that you don't want to accept that fact.

"Both sides equally bad" is agitprop of the worse side. Just fyi it's not in your interest to concede being gullible to their message.

If you knew anything...
Look in the mirror. It's people like yourself that contributed to Hillary losing. Blame yourself instead of wildly trying to blame everyone else.

Did you even actually vote? Because your responses seem to indicate that you're not even of voting age.

And what message is that? I didn't vote for either side. Whether they both suck equally is not the question or my belief. My belief is that they both suck and whether or not that suckage is equal is neither here nor there. So please stow your ridiculous talking points because they don't work or apply to me. Got it, homie?

Funny how people who're so easily manipulated never believe they're the mental underdeveloped one.

"Both sides equal bad" is literally in the previous sentence. But ok, you must be the genius to figure that one out even though it might as well be the campaign slogan of american conservatism these days. Keep in mind the conservatives who propagate that don't actually believe it.

Good for you. Admitting the problem is the first step to recovery. :thumbsup

I'm not a conservative so I wouldn't know. But keep making vapid assumptions. In case you weren't aware, it's not helping your argument whatsoever.

Playground "I know you are but what am I" retorts don't help your case, either.

No it really helps my argument you can't even understand what's being said. You literally parrot GOP propaganda, blissfully unaware of the fact, probably forever as is often the case with incompetent people who believe they're smart. You're an ad man's dream.

I agree. Incompetent people like you are blissfully unaware. Keep on believing you have some kind of smarts while I continue to own you endlessly. It's fun making you look like a blithering fool.

Literally too goddamn stupid to understand "I know you are but what am I" is when grade school kids can figure it out. You really are a dunning kruger posterchild.

"They're just as bad!" isn't a valid argument under the circumstances. Dwelling on Hillary is a strange preoccupation considering that she lost. "She was so bad that Trump deserved to win" is an astoundingly dishonest position. She never was that bad. She was just made to look that way with relentless FUD.

I do hope that Trump nominates Petraeus for SoS. With that, we'll come full circle wrt to Hillary's emails & national security. He knowingly removed classified documents & hid them under the insulation in his attic. He knowingly transferred classified information to an unauthorized person. Hillary didn't do anything like that, but she's the one who should be locked up, obviously.

I wonder what the tweet storm is going to look like when he finds out about those hate crimes going on specifically name-checking him and his victory in the election.

He only tweetstorms ms housekeepings who aren't going to vote for him. His supporters love that he's sticking up for their right to say shit like that.

What an embarrassment. He's like a rambling nut you see post on forums; out of control and deluded. The next US president is a nutjob. On his first day he'll call up the FBI and ask if they still have Mulder and Scully on the payroll to investigate a few conspiracies he wants exposed. Sad!

What scares me a lot is that Trump's lies to the folks who actually needed to listen to the truth about him and the lies that the GOP hammered Hillary with is what gave them the win.

I thought Swiftboat Veterans for Truthiness was really bad, but this past election went over the top. It got unhinged from the get-go, and progressively got worse as time went on. Trump's masterful use of playing up to people's fears with outrageously gimmicky promises to ally those fears was astonishing to hear, and incredible to see how folks actually bought into all of that hogwash.

Well, those lies of his are now being either walked back or disproved by none other than Trump himself and he hasn't even taken office yet.

It's typical that his supporters aren't admitting to any of Trump's admissions of lies, but instead are covering for him and themselves with statements like "Oh, we knew he didn't really mean those things" when it was those very "things" that led his supporters to vote for him in the first place.

When Trump said he was going to dismantle the "establishment" he didn't let on that he viewed the folks who voted for him as being an integral part of the very "establishment" he was going to defeat and become the supreme master of.

It's always been himself against everyone else, and so far, it looks like he's running true to form.

The "establishment" they speak of is the GOP that was gradually moving away from racist underpinnings. Rubio supporters' racial resentment numbers look practically Democratic. What's really comical is that the GOP in an effort to paint themselves as not-racist completely misjudged their own base.

Trumpsters want birther-Trump/Bannon's vision for the future, an ethnocentric fascist america where they're on top of the social totem, and they're evidently willing to say/"believe"/do anything to get there. Liberals who remain soft against this sort of threat only become enablers for what's coming.

Wrong. Slime implies that lies were being spread. Lies were definitely spread about Hillary. That part is true. All Hillary did was play clips of Trump saying things. That isn't slime.

You're not exactly replying to someone with the wherewithal to discern between right and wrong. It's always funny when someone proclaims to be independent, but when it down to it they tend to believe all the shit leveled against clinton, but literally quoting trump is "slime".

But let's given them even that, for the sake of argument let's say the clinton accusations were true, that she sells influence and very careless with secure docs. Now compare this to the birther/Bannon's rather clear vision for the country, where too many minorities in lead roles even if they're model ones is considered a threat to "civic society". Consider the kind of people who believe these are comparable sins, and how that reflects on the US as a country.

It's good to see that Jill Stein is helping the DNC see the value of voter ID. No doubt the Prog's are slow on the uptake but just maybe they will finally figure this one out. Hats off to Jill Stein!!

Agreed.

What's sad about that is that these nativist/isolationists who are presently in control of the party are setting an example for the more moderate contemporary minded conservatives to follow. The throwbacks are dragging everyone else in the party back with them by simply stating "If, by definition, you're a true conservative, then you need to follow our example", and follow they will to some degree, seeing as if to do otherwise is tantamount to selling out to "the heathen immigrant loving baby killers" who, of course, are determined to force their values on everyone else and take all of the jobs for themselves.

The boogymen are coming! The boogymen are coming!

This is after he spent the night bullying an individual CNN journalist. Attacking the first amendment head-on twice in the span of 12 hours.

The irony: the GOP's favourite anti-choice Supreme Court justice, the late Antonin Scalia, actually upheld flag burning as a constitutional right... twice.
