I like the sci-fi feel of To Love-Ru, just like Asobi ni Iku yo!, or UFO Princess Valkyrie.
Plus both Haruka Tomatsu and Kana Hanazawa's performances are great in both

That's the one I use to introduce kids to anime. The art, the music, and the overall feel of the movie is heads & tails above what we typically offer in the states.
Also I kinda wanna ride a cat bus now.

Kiki's Delivery Service is a good inbetweener, if Spirited Away is too scary for the age group. Also Porco Rosso is pretty awesome. I'd rather be a pig than a fascist!

Alright, guys... you know what time it is... NEW ANIME SEASON!
I've watched the first episode of two series so far:
Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun - This is one that I think I'll really need to see more to get a good feel for the series. It's about a soccer player that's quite good, but he's also a major germaphobe, which affects the way he plays the game. Of course, this sort of aggravates some other people, and you also get some awkward side characters. I guess my biggest worry about this one is that it may not have much to keep you watching. There are usually two sorts of sports anime: kid with latent capability works toward becoming star member of a team, or super awesome player goes to crappy school/team. Obviously, this is one of the latter, and I think those are a little harder to get right.
Knight's & Magic - So, the reoccurring theme over the last few seasons has been... resurrection anime! Fortunately, or for some, unfortunately, this series is another one of those. (There's another one that'll be starting in less than a week too!) So, this series is about an otaku who is a huge fan of Gunpla. He dies in the real world, and suddenly finds himself resurrected in another world that uses magic-fueled mecha to fight against these demon bug creatures. Of course, as a huge mecha fan, he aims to become a pilot in one of these suits, and uses a bit of his knowledge from our world to his advantage. Now, the one thing that threw me for a loop at first was his voice in the real world... he sounded like a 12-year old, but he was looked like someone in their mid-20s. Fortunately, and what could end up being a negative later on, this series remedies this quickly as he dies in the first two minutes or so. Why is this a negative? Well, this series pretty much doesn't take its foot off the gas in the first episode. I haven't read the source material, but I wouldn't be surprised if it covered a decent amount of content. Although, this was mostly introductory stuff, so that's why I'm not too worried. I'm probably a bit more glad that they went quickly rather than spending forever there. I just hope they don't pull a Nanatsu no Taizai and stuff about 120 chapters into 24 episodes.
I've got a few more series queued up to check out such as Koi to Uso.

Best arc is Trunks timeline arc and everything before that is garbage! To people who want to start Super I recommend watching Trunks time arc first and skip everything before that.
Finally, like 15 weeks finding all 10 teammates and now the tournament start... talk about milking the series.
