Hmm the only newer shows that I'm watching are Love Lab (as much as it sounds bad, it isn't a hentai
😛) and Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince (from last season). I still need to catch back up on Sousei no Gargantia; I just hope it got better after waffling around so much for the first eight or so episodes. :\
I have been recommenced "soul eater" but have not watched it yet. I liked "Gun Grave" and "Claymore"
The problem with Soul Eater is that it starts deviating a little bit from the manga about a quarter of the way through, and then about halfway through, it just steers off in its own direction.
Oh, but the best part of GunGrave? "BUUUUURANDON!!" (
spoiler)
honestly, attack on titan is mostly worth it to watch for the animation quality. the story has a neat premise, but it's definitely subpar compared to many other anime
I enjoyed it at first, but after leaping far ahead of the anime by switching to the manga, I ended up disappointed. The story's pacing left so much to be desired. It's really about a bunch of people dying that you don't really even remember nor care about.
You're better off stopping halfway through.
EDIT:
The devil is a part timer. Hilarious fish out of water story where a demon from another world funds himself stranded in ours and works as a fast food clerk to make ends meet
I don't know those English names, but I'm guessing that you mean
Hataraku-Maou Sama? That was one of the few anime that I enjoyed last season, and I'd certainly recommend it. The story does kind of lull a bit, and it's on break (?) after 13 episodes. I just hope it comes back for another season! :'(
Steins gate. I really did not like the main character in the first two or so episodes but the story unfolds nicely and he is a real bro by the end
I had a lot of trouble getting into this one as it was just
too weird. Oddly enough, I found Robotics;Notes (same group) much more accessible; that's probably because it has mecha, and I  robots!
