but before i go i'll leave you with a story:

when i was growing up, the Nazi party was huge where i lived. one day, they threw a parade down my street. after my mom explained to me what the Nazi party stood for, I asked her why they were allowed to march. She told me that they're Americans and being an American means having the freedom to speak your ideas, even if no one likes them. I asked her what we would do during the parade. She told me we'd close our windows and ignore them. And that's what everyone on the street. They just ignored them. No one gave them any attention.

You can agree or disagree with her, but make no mistake she's just using her freedom of speech. Our soldiers are dying in Iraq to give the people there the same freedom.
dude we can't take you serious after you said this: "Dude, you live in New Jersey. Your entire state smells like poop.

Seriously."

as opposed to what might've been - Mr. Wishy Washy Flip Flop

Mr Wishy Washy Flip Flop fought in Vietnam. Mr Danger had his rich daddy protect him.

Anyone in any military service is putting themselves at risk. Remember, we had German subs off of our coast at one time. Why dont you go and Google that.

Like I have said before, this thread is not about free speech.

I've only driven through dirty jersey and stopped for gas so I could get to and from NY, and I'd have to say that one remark was the most accurate - and amusing - post in this thread.

The turnpike is not representative of the entire state of NJ. :)

I didn't say it was an absolute truth, I said it was more accurate than the rest of the posts in the thread ;)

(And the Citgo with the hotdog bun that had turned into a bun shaped conglomeration of moldy grey ash .. yea I won't be stopping there for gas again)

google was right and you weren't. google was free. how much was your 4 year education?

We have bailed France out of 2 world wars in the last 100 years and they have continually come back to bite us in the ass.

I seem to recall France being a major factor in there being a United States to later bail them out.

On topic I hate the Sheehan b!tch. She is currently 19 and moving up on my list if I'm diagnosed with a terminal illness.

United States President Woodrow Wilson declared a U.S. policy of absolute neutrality, an official stance that would last until 1917 when Germany's policy of unrestricted submarine warfare - which seriously threatened America's commercial shipping- forced the U.S. to finally enter the war on April 6th 1917.
Don't forget the money.

I'll support almost anyone who opposes Dumbya, at this point it just couldn't be worse than being under the stupidest regime in the history of our nation....these guys make Nixon, LBJ, Carter, Reagan, etc., all look like frickin' geniuses

Sheehan's idea is great... Feinstein needs a good kick in the the....errr....kick in the....errr....English just doesn't have a good metaphor for that when it comes to women :)

There would be an immediate groundswell of support for Sheehan and against Feinstein who has become just another incumbent Democrat who pretends to oppose the Republicans but does nothing of substance. I have no doubt her political staff is afraid of this scenario, facing a mobilized anti-war coalition at the polls and Feinstein having to flip flop constantly.

"Sheehan to Feinstein: Filibuster Alito, Or I'll Run Against You
(CNSNews.com) - Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan has threatened to run for Sen. Dianne Feinstein's (D-Calif.) seat unless Feinstein filibusters Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito."

Her son is dead because the president of the United States is a liar, a thief, and a madman. I say... cut her some slack.
facts to support accusations?

and lest you forget her son signed up voluntarily to be in the military knowing he could go to war.

thank you mosh. i hate when anti-war activists speak of soldiers as our "kids, boys/girls"

that person's son/daughter made the conscious and voluntary decision to enter the US armed forces, KNOWING that death is a certain possibility should they be called to serve. these people are adults, not kids.

sorry for the rant, that excuse of an argument gets me so much:|:|:|

she's already went to jail, remember? here's a pic of her as the cops hauled her away. she was blocking a public way and refused to move. It happened during a Sheehan-centered "peace" protest in front of the White House.

she looked quite happy to be going to jail for some reason.

But I guess all those radical 60's protestors looked wierd as hell back in the day too.

Now they are part of the culture.

I don't agree with her extremist actions and such but I wonder how any of you would act and feel if your child died in a pointless war started by the world's biggest terrorist.

Yes, I agree.

But there's the other side, too. When you enter the military it is with the trust that your commanding officers will be responsible for their actions and for the people under their command. Lying to get into a war over oil is hardly the actions of a trustworthy commander in chief.

supposedly she had little to do with her son until after his death. i'd say guilt plays a big part in her protesting.

Bush is the world's biggest terrorist? have you been listening to Chavez again?

There is no need to put her in jail. she is soon to be dropped by the puppetmasters that are pulling her strings as soon as another photo op shows up to replace her.

think she is a lonely bitter woman now?... wait until that happens. worse than any jail on the planet.
