Pretty awesome! Looks like you got one with a board that can overlock to 100Hz! D:

So if I were to buy one of the Shimians that only comes with the Type C (Korean) plug from dcsamsungmall what exactly would I need to buy to use it in the US?

Just a regular computer cord. I used a converter with my Crossover though.
Converter? Can you link me to what you're talking about. This talk about plugging these things and smoking them has me a bit nervous.
I read through about half the posts on OCN...about all I could tolerate. One question I thought would have been answered right away I couldn't find any discussion on.
These monitors all have some defect. If you buy a "pixel perfect" monitor then wouldn't it stand to reason that the defect is somewhere else - possibly a worse issue? Like a discoloration or backlight bleed - which may be worse than a few stuck pixels. Might it not be preferable to not get the "pixel perfect" model for that reason?

Why do you presume all these monitors have some defect? I don't think they are refurbs. These monitors all have some defect. Does anyone have the actual evaluation information as to what goes into the different "grades" of the panels?
I understand there may or may not be visually detectable defects, but I'm sure there has to be something more specific that the manufacturer uses to bin the panels, and what wiggle room there is if any?
I'm very tempted to jump on this and get a 5th monitor, as my PC could handle 5 simultaneous if I activate my integrated graphics along with the 3 ports on my 5850 that I currently use with displayport.
I'm on the fence getting 1-3 of these and could use some guidance. I haven't played a PC game besides GTA4 and Torchlight in the last four years; no joke. Been super busy with school and raising kids. I have a Steam account with 51 games in it, a lot being big-hit titles.
A few months ago I picked up three of these 23" HP monitors for $75 + tax from Staples:

I'm almost done finishing my basement with a dedicated office/computer room and was going to set them up in Eyefinity and start playing games again, now that life has slowed down considerably. I will start with the oldest game and work my way up, which should save me a boatload of money not having to get a bleeding edge video card. It should be a cool step-up from my 28" I-Inc 1920x1200.
Now that I see this deal I'm not sure what to do. I can sell the three 23" monitors and get at least $100 each for them on Craigslist. That would give me enough money to purchase one of these. Will one of these with near 4 million pixels be a better experience than three, 23" monitors in Eyefinity? Do I go crazy and get three of them? If I did that I would definitely need to upgrade my video card, but seeing how I'll be playing really old games like Dragon Age, all the Stalkers, the Witcher etc. they should probably play decently, even pushing over 11 million pixels.
What would you guys do? Thanks for any consideration.

IF anyone is interested, i just bought this stand from Walmart.com for $40. It tilts, rotates, height adjustable, and looks to be very well built. This is mounted on the Crossover 27Q (which does none of those things)

AHA! That long pole, it lets you slide the monitor up and down?
