You mean the one championship team Roger was on (2000, they would have wiped the floor with the Mets w/o Clemens anyway)?

Pettitte supposedly used in 2002.

So much for that idea.

What do you say to this?

Game 1 Starter
Andy Pettitte (steroids)
Yankees win

Game 2 Starter
Roger Clemens (steroids)
Yankees win

Game 3 Starter
Orlando Hernandez
Mets win

Game 4 Starter
Denny Neagle (steroids)
Yankees win

Game 5 Starter
Andy Pettitte (steroids)
Yankees win
Winning pitcher of record in both games 1 and 5 : Mike Stanton - Roider
Yankees Steroid Users in 2000 World Series:
30.2 IP, 5 ER, 1.46 ERA

Non-Steroid Users:
16.1 IP, 9 ER, 4.95 ERA

How about reading? Pettitte used HGH (not a steroid) AFTER this point in time.

As for Denny Neagle... LOL he was garbage as a Yankee. Check his numbers, he didn't exactly help the team.

Not to mention the poster I was quoting was referring directly to Clemens and Pettitte.

It's not about baseball, it's about illegal drug use in sports. Kids in high school use steroids when they see that successful sports stars do.

It was in relation to Clemens being so forgiving. Forgiveness is supposed to be practiced by those wishing to go to heaven. With all the forgiving Clemens has done, it seems like he's got a ticket already.

That's what she meant.

fifth amendment doesn't apply for some reason?

You're combining two different things.

If he doesn't testify willingly, he eventually gets subpoenaed.

You "plead the fifth" to get out of questions that may incriminate yourself, not to get out of testifying completely.

And even then, since it isn't a criminal trial, I don't even know if it applies. I don't believe he's forced to answer, so all he'd have to say no comment.

You never have to answer anything ever and the worst you face is contempt of court charge.

Virginia Foxx is the biggest Clemens apologist I've ever seen. At this point, there are too many witnesses that corroborate McNamee's story that I find Clemens' denials hard to believe.

I have to pity anyone that believes Clemens is telling the truth. If someone can't see thru the holes in his testimony and the surrounding testimonies contradicting them, they are going to be rather vulnerable to the infinite untruths stated among the general human population.

The holes in McNamee's statements and credibility as a whole are much more glaring IMO.

This has nothing to do with television....or the FCC.

local or federal and is this a fact for every stadium?

You do know that everyone in the nfl has done steroids/hgh right?

I wish i had the time... please explain the nanny business!

I forget the exact details, but someone said if there was anyone that would know if Roger was at the party at Canseco's house, it'd be his former nanny.

The Committee requested on a Friday night to get the contact information about the nanny. They requested once or twice again and finally got the contact information on Monday.

They only got the information after Clemens had personally met with her and talked about the situation.

On top of that, when the nanny was interviewed, she not only placed Clemens at the party, but said she, his wife, and the kids had stayed over a night.

Clemens and his lawyers were squirming like worms during the entire thing and also as to why it took them so long to get them the contact information and why Roger had personally met with the nanny. Also that it gives the impression of tampering with a witness.
