thread has degraded into a worthless flame fest

I am debating the Solo vs Duet for my 'daily bag' My current umbrella is about 21" long so either are much smaller (mine has a larger than really needed 53" canopy).

I am leaning toward the Duet actually as it has a strap I can tie to my bag as well as the Solo's clip looks like it may make carrying it in the rain uncomfortable.

The other I am debating is the Mini vs the Traveller. I need to measure my glove box. If the traveller will fit, it will be in my M3 all the time. If anyone has an M3 and these let me know which fit.

Is DavekNy.com the best source? I haven't been able to find cheaper retailers.

I lose umbrellas like crazy, so never bother to spend more than $20 bucks on one; most of the ones I get are free though from work or elsewhere.

I don't understand why you would spend $100 on an umbrella unless it can withstand 40mph winds.

I just got my mom the Mini and it broke first day she used it.
It fits anywhere, but cant stand up to any real wind. For 50 bucks you better believe I'm asking for an RMA.

The mini doesn't have the lifetime warranty not the features of the larger umbrellas. It's pocketable which is cool.

This thread makes me feel very ignorant. I didn't even think a $100 umbrella existed. I've never lived anywhere that I even needed to purchase an umbrella.

I find this to be one of the OP's more interesting threads. in a world literally falling apart ... he posts a thread about umbrellas.

You live in Florida. You know how good/bad the weather is. Summer is right around the corner and you know what it brings. Why not just let it fall?

Into every life a little rain must fall ... enjoy getting wet.
