I don't particularly like most of his posts, I don't often even read them. I also do not have any self hate. I am very happy with myself and my life. But thanks?
Maybe, let me try to be more clear. The point I was making was that some words are racist no matter what. No matter the context, no matter who says them, not matter who they are said against. Some others are not. It depends on the context. Some have more than one meaning, that can be totally different. I did not discuss every single aspect about racism. I pointed out the hypocrisy of that particular incident. The sort of thinking that some racism or bigotry is ok, but another is not, is not good. "Do as I say, not as I do", is their mantra around here for many people. Its allowed and even accepted, as long as its a certain way. This has been proven time and time again. An example, there have been plenty of black people called bigoted names, but other black people. Simple because they stray from what black people are "supposed to support", aka Democrats. Just like in the video I linked to, a black person was upset that a cop was black. Supposed to be on "their side", and if not hes a race traitor. A common term used. Thats an ignorant and shortsighted way of thinking. Tow the line, or carry the water is a popular term around here. Most often used wrong. She was upset because he wasn't doing that, he strayed from what she thought was the right think for a black person to do.
Not necessarily addressed to you, but that is getting off topic. So in an attempt at getting it back on topic, there are plenty of antifa "scum". A lot of acts of violence and even terrorism. Using bats over the heads of defenseless people, inflicting bad injuries just recently. Pushing and kicking people on the ground. Even arguing with BLM members and assaulting them (punching in the face) when they were there to protest the same event, the same things. That is just idiotic. I do not believe that most antifa are violence people, I do believe there are those on the fringe that make them all look bad. Wearing a mask to conceal their face, adds empowerment and they think they can get away with anything. This leads to more acts of violence. When the truth is, they're just being cowards. Just like when the kkk does it. The fact that some people here are ok with their acts of blatant violence, because it is against people they think deserve it, is very troubling. It shows that they don't really care about having values and laws, they like vigilante justice, as long as their team is doing it. That's hypocrisy, but also not uncommon around here. Very similar to people who are ok with rapists getting raped in prison, or other such acts. Because they "deserve it" they will look the other way. A terrorist group is defined as, "the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives". Clearly that is part of what they do. Some members of them act exactly in that accord.
The article that the antifa is a gift to the right is spot on in my opinion. There is plenty to protest and be upset about with the kkk and white nationalist. To me it is unbelievable in this time and age that people can think that like. That they can be so ignorant and full of hate, over skin color. That they can believe people are better, just because of their skin or heritage. It makes me sick, and honestly embarrassed that there are people who actually think like that. People who act on that. There is a different way to do things though. Protesting legally, holding to your beliefs while not sinking to their level is a better way to combat the problem, not adding fuel to the fire. Because instead of pointing the finger at them, calling it like it is, being the better person/group, now part of the blame is on them. Both sides are at fault for the violence. People may not like to hear it, but its the truth. That does not mean the woman deserved to be ran over with a car, clearly she did not. That guy needs to never be free again. When two sides come to an event, with the intent to provoke, bringing weapons and preparing for a violence, things will happen. It always does. It always will.
So yeah, there are plenty of antifa scum. Plenty of kkk/white nationalist scum. There are sites for antifa who actually call for more violence in these protests. This is not the way for things to get better, and it looks like its going to get worse first. All the while, antifa and people who support them (plenty here) who think they are the righteous ones, when in reality they are doing exactly what they claim to be fighting against.
