You see, that is what is supposed to happen. You are trying to tell the left that they are just as bad because of bad actions of Antifa and the Left makes it very clear that we don't support Antifa. The Left calls out the actions of the Neo-Nazis and instead of distancing themselves from the bad actors they tell us that the other side is just as bad and that many good Nazis.

We would do well to remember America's reaction to the Jewish holocaust. When Americans were polled as to whether to accept Jewish refugees from Hitler, 77 percent said no. In addition, it was the south that was much more supportive of going to war with Hitler and liberals who were almost universally against it. That all changed after Pearl Harbor of course.

This is kind off topic but I am currently reading Max Hasting's Inferno and wanted a thread to show off my new knowledge.

As we are going off topic, I will express the two entirely unrelated things that come to mind from that

(a) Max Hastings is a Tory, but it was notable how he fell out with his employers at the Telegraph when that paper got taken over by American (technically Canadian in the case of Conrad Black) neo-cons. He didn't much care for neo-cons. In fact he seemed to consider that crowd to be bordering on crazy and a very damaging influence on the right. Just seemd an example of how 'the right' is no more a homogeneous unit than is 'the left'.

(b) One of the reasons for some of the US support for the creation of Israel was that many Americans wanted European Jews to go there, because they sure as heck didn't want them to come to the US. Contrary to what is sometimes claimed, it's possible to be both pro-Zionist and anti-Semitic.

(b) might be a bit of too much truth there, next you'll mention how US agents sunk Italian ships with Jews on board to stop them from getting to the US.

Hastings has been kind of a kent at times but he's never been a full on neo kent.

I've had whisky with that particular kent, he's funny when he's drunk... still a kent though.

One week it's Berkley and the Antifa are the violent ones, the next Portland and the Nazis are the violent ones.

In reality both groups are violent miscegenations and the best that could be done is for the police to lock them in and let them duke it out, whoever wins gets life served.

Fast way to get these arseholes out of civilized society. Everyone dumb enough to join in should be encouraged.
