How did he get cleared of any wrongdoing? He was obviously in the wrong in everything he did. He had no right to put her under arrest, he had no right to spray her.

Where did this take place. Dayton?

yea how the fvck did he get cleared

Police Unions. :thumbsup::roll:

yup. police unions. here in austin, they practically own the mayor and half the city council.

I think if more police offiers had to experince getting sprayed first hand, they might think twice before using it so carelessly.

I think that most agencies spray the cadets as part of academy.
Edit: I know that the police depts in AZ and the FBI do anyway.

i was under the impression that with the exception of being shot without a vest the officer had to withstand any force he was authorized to use on a daily basis

aka: mace, nightstick, etc

You know what the failures(read: idiots, underacheivers, morons, etc) from my highschool did when they graduated highschool and couldn't get into college? They entered the police academy.

sigh ... It's sad but most cops act like this when disputes arise. I can saw for most police man is f*ck the police.

Can we say over reacting on the part of both parties?

You ever work at Wendys? The last thing you need is people slowing down your day, which is already going shtty because you work at Wendy's. How often do the people at Wendy's fvck up your change, honestly?

God this makes me hate cops even more.

You don't see videos of all the good things cops do on a day-to-day basis. You only hear about the bad things. Why? Because bad things are more interesting. The reality is, most cops are good people and serve us quite well.

The cop in this thread was wrong, there is little doubt about that. However for you to hate 'cops', (which to me sounds like a blanket statement) strikes me as quite ignorant.

Yeah, I never read about the good computer programmers, just the ones that write viruses.

I never hear about the good...

Yeah, and what about all the good things Hitler did? Cops are for a large part the scum, jock pukes that picked on you in High School looking for a lifetime extension to keep doing it.

I'm gonna keep this video for traffic court and be like:

Your officers can't even properly identify money, how can he have accurately identified me as the driver speeding in a car from hundreds of feet away?

well, if you were pulled over by Officer McDonald in Ohio and you showed this video in court, you would definitely undermine his credibility.

Oh God, I just woke up and I soooo wanna come up with a witty potshot for Bradruth but... the... brain is not... working...

Cop was definately wrong and should have been fired.
I must admit though listening to her I wanted to spray her.
Resisting arrest will get you nowhere.
Exactly. You cannot resist arrest, even if you are being arrested under false pretenses. There is a court and a judge to determine if you are innocent. Yelling at the cop will do not hing but fuel his anger.

 for the cop putting his life on the line everyday.

Apparently you can because, well, she got sixty-thousand dollars for doing so.

 for him being a peice of sh!t

and  for her ignorant arrogance.

That guy should so loose his job. God that pisses me off. There are plenty of decent, good cops out there...but that guys just gives them all a really bad name.

While there are some cops that should not be in the job (such as this one) MOST are good people that have a taugh job. Now am i saying you should do everything you are asked? no learn your rights and fallow them.
