My OCD is crying at the lack of consistency in how the contents of the tiles are vertically and horizontally justified.

iOS has fanboys, Windows Mobile has fanboys, even Blackberry has fanboys.

You have to use a dumbphone or a Symbian phone to avoid fanboys.

There probably are Symbian fanboys though :D

I actually sometimes wax nostalgic about those flip dumbphones. The Motorola Razr was a work of art.

congrats your are the first non apple hipster that takes 15 min to special order his coffee.

you do get the point tho right? its like a kind of click/cult thing and 99% of the kids that go there are a perfect example of an apple isheep and would spend days in lines waiting for the next ios device

Lol, I'm a good example of staying at coffee shops for a few hours, although I don't do it often. When I do go though, its for work.

I like my coffee straight black. I don't bring any cords with me, just full charge MBA, phone, and bluetooth headphones; I hate clutter. Not sure if I'm considered hipster.

whats with this bias? we have people on this board that said screw the Nexus 4 OOS issue, I'm going to the T-Mobile store to pay full price. To me that's JUST as bad. And how many people here were waking up at midnight or 3am EST to check on the availability of the Nexus 4?

Who cares if people special order their coffee? That's fine if you can go with your nescafe everyday or just settle for mainstream Starbucks. There are those who enjoy blue bottle or Philz or whatever hipster coffee store is out there because its far better. I can take something more mainstream like Pizza and say that's fine if all you want is Costco or Pizza Hut but pretty much any local pizza shop will make you a better pie. Are you going to hate on those who go to mom & pop shops for their custom pie?

I'd also like to add iv been to Starbucks once and felt totally out of place. that place is exactly how the bay area is and is filled with apple geeks playing board games

I'm sorry but its the simple truth, you won't see any android user spending 3 hours in a coffee shop lol

Your point would actually be something if 95% of Android users didn't live in their parents basement and spend all their free time on XDA finding new roms to flash and tweaks to try.

I routinely see dudes on XDA talking about how they've flashed 30 different roms in a given week. At least the iSheep get out of the house and socialize. *shrug*

Lol OK bud

Just go walk into a Starbucks and when I had to go to Pasadena for work and noticed they didnt have any dunks at all over there I was forced to walk into a starbucks

Man if you want to talk about nerds and xda just go walk into a Starbucks and watch all the apple fanboys playing with iOS devices

You are missing the point and we all know you love your little iPhone but when people post on here that they see nothing but iOS devices in the real world but don't notice they live in apple headquarters back yard that everyone in there area is an apple fan boy by chance of living in its home ground.

I haven't seen an iPhone 5 in a while out in the real world and last time I saw Verizon, you know the biggest cell carrier in the USA is having a huge problem selling its iPhone contract they signed to.

Not sure why we're talking about Starbucks and hipsters...

...because Starbucks is too mainstream now. :p

Maybe Verizon should have came up with a better contract. Because their biggest selling phone ever is an iPhone. If a contract for your #1 selling product is failing you, you really can't blame it on the product now can you?

And as for your "little iPhone" jab, I'm actually using an Nexus 4 right now. it's running MIUI, but it's still an Android device.

Their best selling phone is the iPhone. They don't have problems selling them, they just bought too much. I think it was like $20B worth.

What is wrong with flashing ROMs? Some of us find the process fun, like dual booting Linux back in 2004.

If anything once I got an Android device after iPhones I realized how much I HATED you couldn't easily hack iOS. Even Jailbreak is one click, and then you PAY for any decent jailbreak app. If jailbreak screws something up its deal with it or undo it.

So boring.

I have spent ten times as much on the Play store than iOS despite having them for the same amount of time. Why? Because I hated iOS so much for its locks I didn't care to explore the range of capability the device had in the walled garden. Half of my pay for Android apps are root only- the equivalent of jailbreak apps.

Think a lot of people here need to come back to the middle after staying on the extremes for so long.

Apple fans: not all Android users are geeks without social lives. Big screens do matter, even if not as much as some believe. The app parity has closed... somewhat, anyway. Google is not explicitly out to watch everything you do.

Android fans: many iOS users are intelligent people who can get all their work and play done on an iPhone or iPad. They're not "iSheep" (which is an ironic statement when you promptly tout market share majority); they're not groaning under oppression. You should not be encouraging a rush toward a Google monopoly, toward the ends of competition and choice.

Pathetic. Do you have any proof of the 95% statistic or are you just pulling it out of your ass? I love how smug iSheep are.

Both of you are what's wrong with tech fandom these days. Please, just grow up.

How do you have so much time replying with frequent and long posts with your bias agenda? Is this the only forum you visit? Is Apple your only love in life?

At least his posts have actual content in them. Your drive-by comments bring nothing of value to the table.

When it comes to actual usage of the phone, Apple blows android out of the water. There are hundreds of studies to prove this.

So yes, android is selling a lot of phones. Are people actually using these smartphones? Most statistics say not nearly as much as the competition. Android is dominating the low end market in sales. Android is dominating sales in poor countries. Just people replacing their dumbphone and not using it for any real smartphone features.

There are hundreds of studies to "prove" a blatant opinion? That would be a first.

Android outsells iOS is every country, not just poor countries.
