Just stuck my 1366 rig from 2009 in the new case... pending an AMD Zen / Vega build if they get good reviews / price just because... the X5650 I swapped in from the original i7 920 is running everything great @ 4.0ghz though.

My humble little modified EVGA Hadron Air. Nothing fancy. Just removed the drive cage to put a full sized modular PSU in it (Seasonic 550G) and where the 1U PSU used to be at the bottom, I used the PSU cutout to serve as access to the 2x2.5" Hotswap caddy for my two SSDs.

Cooling must be really nice on that push-pull system!

Yep, fresh air from the side, push, pull via noctua into the PSU which exhausts through the top. Very uncommon for me to break 100f degrees with this setup. Even when I had a GTX 580 OC in that case, heat wasn't a big issue. That's why I love having such a small case: Well placed fans move ALL the air through and out instead of just circulating it within the case.

That is a nice case, I wanted the Corsair Crystal Series 460X but now I am not so sure. Maybe this case.

I am eye balling that 460x but i am not sure if i am willing to give up my BD burner and SD card reader on my main system. I see Be Quiet added a tempered glass window option on the Pure Base 600 but one of the reviews said it did not get good cooling at all compared to other cases. Decisions! The 460x is the best looking case in my price range.
 
Too many times it's a compromise: best cooling vs best looking. Depending on what all is in your system (or is going to be), the cooling part may not even be a big deal.

Looks great, I'm thinking of getting this case and a Corsair h100i v2. Really like the look of it. What cooler are you running?

I have a question... how were you able to mount the fan controller like that, facing the side?
 
That nerd-cave looks so ... clean and neat. Probably non-offensive to women, too. My place is a parts warehouse, and a pile of other junk on my desk. Don't know how other people manage to keep theirs clean. (I guess drawers help, I'm using a computer cart/desk, not a real desk with drawers.)

Don't feel alone.

After seeing some of these rigs and the nerd-cave you referenced, I was beginning to do so myself.

When you say "parts warehouse" and "pile of junk on my desk," it is just the environment I keep meaning to clean up every morning -- but there's never progress.

There was recent news about Anthony Hopkins, but I think he's still among the living. [I didn't eat his liver, with some fava beans -- and a nice . . . Key-aunt-ie . . ]

So maybe you'll enjoy this flick: The World's Fastest Indian .

If you pay keen attention to "Bert Munro's" New Zealand hovel -- bedroom, workshop and kitchen in one room -- it will make you feel better. Perhaps -- even proud of yourself.

Then, you can walk proudly out your door and pee on the ground at the lemon tree . . .
 
Lol, my wife enjoys that my current setup is neat and clean since back in our home in Atlanta it looked more like this (I hoarde water-cooling components and other pc parts).
