!!!!56K beware- they load high res then scale down!!!!
after the pics load click on them to enlarge.
I've only been building PC for a couple years so I'm a noob!

DerwenA said he couldn't follow my loop so I added some TJ pics, these pics are before I split the loop so it is a dual rad, dual pump, single loop.
CPU > T-line > pump > 120.1 rad > vid > T-line > 120.2 > back to CPU

Silverstone TJ08, Q6600, P5K-VM, 7950GT, single loop

did someone mention wire manegement?:shocked:TJ with gigabyte board

TJ left side again

I do my own windows!

My "Nightstand" E6600, Commando, 7950GT, Dual loop

This case my son still uses, w/ an 840Extreme and a Gigabyte board
This was a Toshiba P3

P4 "Book PC" modded a bit

My new box and a link to the build thread.

Well the system is no more - in that config. Out with the raptors in with the SASSY stuff. I had SAS before but it was broke. They took all that stuff away and I was using raptors. They never disappoint though. Two weeks ago the crates arrived at Miami with brand new MAX's with sequential serials and stress tested already. A 1.2GHz IOP 1680 rounded out the package. So the next step is more drives but whoops! Only two MINISAS (4 drives each) on this HBA and all the expander racks take 2.5" drives. So the new 24port 1680 is coming and this puppy takes 4GB cache. 24 64GB SAS SSD in RAID0 with 4GB cache on that guy should give some serious STR and IO! Perhaps enough to make mother quad cry. But I will not get a bonetrail board. Dual 771's are fine - then I can have 192GB of RAM if I want. (64 sounds like a nice even number) ;)

Then I need to make it rugged enough to survive day to day sea roles. By that time it will be time for Nehalm. :( (which I just may wait for the Sandy Bridge)

Some of these systems are worthy of drool but to be polite, comments will do. Many will have questions and many will have the same questions. "Like who stole dedwards drives?" I mean do we need to hire a P.I. to answer this???? We have thieves here I say!
Sorry Ruby, I slobbered on your system. Beautiful. Don't for get the kid! legoman did a real nice bit of work on his case and I'd feel like a misereable old fart if I couldn't tell him so, whoops!,,,I am.

Lot's of pretty cases here. I look forward to more.

@ legoman666 i am actively moving posts which do not belong in this thread after the discussion has been made and concensus arrived.

@ FMC, sigh.. that would take a lot of organization and posting. Also that main post could/would get EXTREMELY long. I guess for now i could move them up, but you know what that does, dont know how boss would feel about that. :X

Also, yes this discussion and all the others will be shortly moved to keep the thread clean and organized after ive given enough people a chance to read them.

Going to leave this post for another day so people can read what we did so far then i move it away. So far i think i got everything.

Um...

Maybe I should have posted these pics in the 'cable management' sticky instead, huh?

If someone has a cleaner setup, let me know, and I'll work on it... :)

EDIT 1

Actually, I'm more interested in what kind of camera equipment you're using!

The above pics were shot with a Sony DSC V-1, mounted on a Leitz Tiltall Professional Tripod.

What are you guys using?!?!?

Just curious... ;)

woodbutcher - lol.

My one HD is clearly visible in Pic1. It's right near the top of the window. Just reversed so there's no wires showing...

The worklog tells all...

Here's my Antec 900 C2D rig. This is the first version of the Antec 900, before antec thought about wire management :p
So, I had to cut the holes, route the wires, extend some wires, and reverse the HDD bay.

Here's the Before and After

@ Cheezeit

You have your Tuniq mounted the wrong direction! ;)

The logo should be upside-down, Lian Li-style, like your PSU...

Either that, or mount the fan frame backwards inside the Tuniq, Taiwan-style... your choice!

Nobody runs a Tuniq Tower right-side up - that's Yankee Doodle Dandy-style... :D

EDIT

My bad! Sorry, dude! Didn't look close enough the first time...

You DO have it mounted Taiwan-style (frame mounted wrong direction in the body).

Plus, it looks like you trimmed the side blowhole fan too, so it would work with the Tuniq...

Nice job!

Just got done with my 'mostly-new' rig. I used a few pieces from my previous one. I just wished I could've done a better job with the cable routing!

Just got it back from the powdercoater and started a mock-up installation. You cant tell from the pic, but its a metallicy apple green....lol
http://www.clan-tlb.com/forums...ry2.php?g2_itemId=4652

I had to Dremel out a space for the bottom vid card fan. That was interesting to say the least

Looks very good tweakin! don't downplay a nice build like that. They don't all have to be monster builds with over the top hardware and cooling. I've come to apreciate a nicely laid out and functionally clean build.
