Rig information in signature. I wanted to build a small rig I could take on the plane between islands. EDIT: New GPU

Just a upgrade to my current rig. I upgraded from a 3570K to a 5820K. I also upgraded the crappy TT PSU to a decent EVGA G2. The 500R is getting a bit cramped behind the motherboard tray. A case and video card are next on the list.

Thanks, although it's easily overshadowed by some of the bruisers in this thread. BTW, thanks for reminding me, I gotta register that PSU ;)

Old ladys/Plex server needed some updates. I must say, after my NZXT H440 case, and now this 340. It's going to be a hard time NOT to convince me to not buy a NZXT case next round. They are just so much better quality, and thought into the design. And this is a guy who came from a Corsair 600t, 800D, and Carbide Air 540.

Installed EVGA SuperNova 650 GQ (super flower gold 80 actually runs at 89% effeciency)
NZXT Black/Blue 340 case
Antec Kuhler 620 to replace the H100 that had the "clicking pump" noise.
Some Corsair SP120 Blue LED Fans
Seagate 3TB Baraccuda
XFX 280X Double Dissapation

What it already had
i5-2500k @ 4.4 1.29v
MSI P67-GD65
8GB G.Skill Sniper CL9 1866 (2x4)
Samsung 840 Pro 256 SSD
Seagate 2TB Baraccuda

"Just do it"... I love it!

Maybe I could solve my need of case+PSU for some of these micro-ATX FM1 boards I've accumulated, with some of the cardboard shipping boxes my stuff arrives in. :)

thanks, lol, yeah.

I got the cpu+mobo for around $15 AR, so didn't want to spend any extra $$. Fan costs way more than the system :D, I bought 4 of those to replace the old ones on my main rig, but never finished doing that. RAM is never a issue. PSU/brick, I was lucky to find a 12v lying around, only thing I ended up buying was the Pico/ATX module from fleabay for about $15. It's running on mint, playing Amazon videos with no problem.

I moved my guts to a new sff case. Much roomier without really being much bigger. Plus it's a good case to show off your graphics card and SSD drive.
