so it only works with nvidia cards? i'm at 33% downloading at 144 k/sec, wondering if i should just cancel because it wont run on my 8500

How do you play the unlocked missions? I did the thing on the first page that unlocked them, but when I select one and keep clicking next, it eventually just takes me back to the main menu again. What am I doing wrong?

i have no idea.. even with that yourusername.txt file edit, all the maps i try to enter i get a "failed authorization" blah blah.. it at least trys to connect..

when i try to load the mt. mckeana map, it just goes to the main menu and doesnt do anything else.. im able to move my mouse (all other maps, not able to move the mouse while loading)..

i dunno what the problem is.. but freakin p.o.ed.. they should have anticipated the amount of people trying to play..

at least for the day or two, have the majority of servers running the mt. keanna server so everyone can play the other later on.. since the mt mckeanna is mandatory before you can play anything else.. :disgust:

anyways, back to cs-retro for me.. lol. pretty fun.. never played the cs betas before..

That's included with all Unreal builds as there are many games on the Xbox that's going to use the engine. It keeps the devs from having to do it as it's already included.

you're telling me... the faq says they're overloaded so alot of people are getting qualified.. you would think they had thought about this before hand.. give away a free fps game, expect ALOT of traffic = ton of servers..

I'm behind a firewall and I'm playing just fine. Install Game Spy, go through the crap about it finding games, register for one of their accounts (if you don't have one), log in, select America's Army from "My Games" on the left hand side, click the link to one of the chat rooms on the right, and continually click Refresh List until you see a McKenna server that's not full and join. Good luck.

Guys, you have to realize, all these maps/missions are intended to be played online. You can't play them single player on your machine. You have to head out to *ack*Gamespy*ack* and find a game that's running those maps/missions.

you find the map that the level cooresponds to and start the game through gamespy. you can't just select a mission, you have to join a multiplayer game that is currently running the mission.

This is way F'd up - I complete the training, and go to Gamespy to hit up a server... I select one of the "chat rooms" with 345 servers or whatever in it and all of a sudden my network connection dies... No more pinging, browsing, nothing. The only thing that fixes it is rebooting.

Using Win2k Pro, 512MB PC2100, Athlon 1.33, GeForce3.... I seriously don't get it!

Oh, and I'm on cable, no firewalls or anything right now and every other game/website works fine and has worked fine. This is very odd.

I think the instructions say that in order to qualify, your entire team has to go without any ROE points. The guys on your team that had all the ROE points were what kept you from getting qualified. I don't think it's because the servers are overcrowded.

happens here too, all i have to do is reset my router, though.
