The graphics and sound are quite impressive. Gameplay aint half bad, although its mostly impossible to tell whos on your team or not, but thats probably by design.

But good luck trying to play. You have to use gamespy arcade to get online, which is an absolutely horrible game browser, and every single server is hosted by homelan, and dont expect to get a ping under 200, even on a t1.

Of course you have to complete the online training to play on the other servers, but theres only about 5 training servers, and they are constantly maxed.

And the fact that instead of telling you server full, it tells you you are not qualified really really doesnt help, all it does is totally confuse the sh*t out of everyone.

When they get the online problems sorted out, its going to be totally sweet.

There's no other option to use other then Gamespy Arcade? I *HATE* Gamespyacrade, 9 times out of 10 it never works on my PC. When the C&C Renegade demo came out, I'd spend maybe 15 minutes just trying to get a server list.

If that's the case, I hope they release some sort of in game browser. I don't know too many people who like gamespy arcade...

yeah.. someone mentioned that in the chat room.. goto americasarmy/system/save/ edit "yourlogonname.txt" with notepad

it should look like 1,15,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 etc... change all the 0's to 1's..

when you goto the menu that lists the missions, all of them should now say "Complete"

About the lag, I was digging through the files and saw the known bugs list. It states that network code isn't optimized.

If anyone is still trying to connect to one of the MOUT servers, I found this over at Shacknews.
Pull down the console. and type in "open 66.220.20.XXX:777" without the quotes and replace XXX with one of these numbers below:
211
212
214
215
217
218
and
209.58.64.53:7777

Download is a little over 200MB.

I'm pulling it down at about 60Kb per sec., which is pretty darn good considering I'm on 512.

I still can't seem to unlock the levels. I've edited the files like mentioned above and the levels do say "Complete" across them, but when I try and play them, it just goes back to the main menu. I've tried opening up the maps with the program, but I'm stuck in the beginning of the level. The "speak" icon is on, but I can't hear anything but background noise and it's stuck like this. :(
