I gave up on any of the chicks lasting long once alexis got the boot, allison did a pretty good job clawing out this far though.

Thank Simon for Allison going home. She sang a kickass version of Cry Baby, and all he did was give her crap about it. He has a lot of influence.

It is now so painfully obvious that Adam is going to be the winner. Those two don't hold a candle to him. At least with Allison still in the running there would've been someone to challenge Adam.

Then again, is it such a great thing to win and be under contract to American Idol's management company? Like Chris Daughtry, Allison doesn't have to be concerned with that now.

so true. Gwen Stephani sounded rather different, and not in a good way, like she did on the Tragic Kingdom album where she recorded, "Just a girl", with No Doubt.

And Paula was a sounding/looking like a middle aged Britney Spears singing through the trademark voice synthesizer/voice over.

I thought Kris did a really good job with the beatles song. He has really good interpretation abilities, better than danny and much better than allison.

Allison is a one-note-wonder and should have gone home a while ago. Thank goodness we don't have to hear people hailing how great she is anymore...she's got a long way to go, and out the door tonight was the first step in the right direction.

I don't even know what a one-note-wonder is. Are you saying that she can't sing?😕

At the start I really liked Danny but over time his songs all sound the same. His last performance was absolutely ridiculous, especially with that last high pitched, over the top scream.

Kris is a good singer and he would be awesome at regular day to day performances like casino's, bars, and weddings, but vocally he trails far behind the others. I don't think he deserves to be where he is though, there were so many better singers than him.

jjsole: You have no clue about anything when it comes to singing right?

The best comment was during the duet when Simon told Danny he's much better than Kris. I rofl'd IRL yo!

She can sing but it all sounds the same. She's a much better performer, connecting with the audience, than she is a singer. She's very talented, but anything outside her basic range is like going 60mph over speedbumps imo. She's great for her age but her voice is needs a lot of maturing.

Ah, Allison's gone. Definitely an emotional performance, I don't know how she's not singing through tears right now. Sad to see her go - I didn't expect her to win, but I think it would've been a better top 3 with her in it.

I'm looking forward to the judge's choices, they usually do a pretty good job.
