Allison's performance last night was so much better than Tuesday. So sad to see her go. That's what you get when 90% of the call in voters are tweenage girls 🙁

Rooting for Adam but I would not be surprised if one of the cuter, straighter guys win because in the end it's a beauty contest.

I think thats why I didn't enjoy the show as much this year. There weren't any pretty women to swoon over this year. Once Megan (who wasn't that attractive really) was gone, it was a wash.

to me, danny is like bruce or huey lewis. he doesn't have a great voice but he can sing.

They took it off, but on wiki under Adam Lambert it had a blog that his vocals are often comapred to Freddy Mercury.

If Allison would have put as much emotion in all her performances as she did last night, she might be there yet. I'm sad to see her go, but not surprised considering the way the voting has been going. I hoped Danny would be gone.

Did Paula actually think she was fooling anyone by her "singing"? There is no possible way somebody could sing while getting tossed around like that and hit every note spot on. It was a mockery, and I actually like Paula as a person....but I can't stand every dance song being done through those supid auto-tuner, modulator things.

Say what you will...Gwen can play to the crowd quite well.

Daughtry actually sounded a bit off to me...like he couldn't quite find the pitch or something.....kind of vanialla performance if you aks me, I got bored during it b/c it's something I've heard a million times on the radio.

I call that style of music "Bore Core". I don't understand how you can have electric guitars and loud drums and still come off boring. Today's rock totally sucks.

it wouldn't have mattered. teenage girls are not attracted to her. Now 1/2 the reason I watch this show is gone.

and yeah, her performance last night was top notch.

Thank Simon for Allison going home. She sang a kickass version of Cry Baby, and all he did was give her crap about it. He has a lot of influence.

It is now so painfully obvious that Adam is going to be the winner. Those two don't hold a candle to him. At least with Allison still in the running there would've been someone to challenge Adam.

Then again, is it such a great thing to win and be under contract to American Idol's management company? Like Chris Daughtry, Allison doesn't have to be concerned with that now.

What gets me is that there are few, very few bands, that seem to be able to put a song together that doesn't play out like this - verse, chorus, verse, chorus, solo, verse, chorus. It's so repetitive and boring.
 
According to a tweet from Paula about an hour ago, Danny will be singing 'Dance Little Sister' by Terence Trent D'arby (Paula's choice for him) and 'You Are So Beautiful' by Joe Cocker.

Here goes Danny now with 'Dance Little Sister'.
 
Randy & Kara chose the song 'Apologize' by One Republic for Kris.

danny and kris both felt a bit forced; adam much better performance though he did seem to stretch that one note abit. Must say though, that's one u2 song I don't remember.

pretty funny though when simon says if adam isn't in the final one of the biggest upsets ever and randy goes he'll be there (dog).
