I read it. It's a pretty general list of things the founding fathers thought we would have to deal with as a nation. Only a complete dumbfuck would be so stupid as to argue that the world today is as simple as it was 200 years ago or that the problems we face today could be solved by such a simple bit of text.
What do you propose? We cut off all spending on social security, welfare, foreign aide, infrastructure, how about military spending? Oh wait, that is listed in section 8...nevermind, I guess we can keep spending billions of dollars a day on killing people in the middle east because the founding fathers said it was okay. Hold on a second though, it only mentions a Navy...and a militia. Nothing about an Air Force or the Marines. Guess we need to mothball those branches of the armed forces because it isn't mentioned in the Constitution.
