That could be some nice margin and market share padding for AMD looking at that price.
Meanwhile A520 ITX boards disappeared from local webstores. Only B550 available almost twice the price. There goes my Cézanne build.

Wow, so convenient to have a micro center in reach. The above prices are ridiculous to my eye. Just checked I can get a 3700x for $280 right now if I wanted it.

Well, if the pandemic didn't happen, I doubt AMD would have made a production run of these, and I could walk into Best Buy and get a 3100, 3300X, 3600 or some kind of Zen3 APU for $200 or less...

That's a little interesting. Hadn't the 1800x disappeared? I'd expect their to still be some Zen1 stuff floating around just for OEM obligations but top of the stack parts wouldn't likely be that. I've said they should start pumping out more 12nm stuff to take the wind out of Intel's sales a bit on the low end. Obviously more 7nm stuff would be better but there's only so much 7nm.

These have to be a new production run, will know Friday what the lot date is.

Prices are crazy right now. I'm still using a 1700X (at 3.8Ghz all-core clocks) for my main rig, and they're selling for nearly $200 used still. I've thought about just outright buying a 3800X(T) just to extend my platform a bit longer and sell the 1700X's while the market is pretty toasty to make up some of the difference.

You are right about prices staying high.

I sold my 3800X for $400 CAD at the end of jan.

Well, the pandemic made this active again (I am stuck work from home all summer).

Looks like there is a new run of 1800X's. Ordered one from Amazon, and now Newegg has them too.

Got a Noctua NM-AM4-L9aL9i to use the Scythe Mugen 2 Rev B on it also.

Grabbed some Crucial 3600 DDR4, maybe above 3200 is possible?

That was a bust, wrong item was binned, lol.

I know I should ask in the mobo or RAM sub topic but I have had a TUF Gaming X570 motherboard + Ryzen 3800X and I have had G.Skill Ripjaw V 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3600 PC4-28800 CL19 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit F4-3600C19D-32GVRB .

Now occasionally when I resume from hibernation I get a black screen and i would have to hold the power button to reset it. I realized the last few times my mobo light was showing red for the CPU. Should i be concerned my CPU is dying or is it more likely something is not initialized properly? I am not overclocking anything but the DOCP for my RAM to run at 3600Hz.

I happens less than once a month but I would like to get it more stable. I don't think it is an issue once windows is going but i can run some more stability tests to confirm.

Are you using the most current bios for your board?

No, I am on the second newest build 3603 and I keep checking hoping for a non beta BIOS but I suppose I should give it a whirl. Beta BIOS has been out since April 1st.
