Well thats 2 hours of my life down the toilet

The fact that they dont give any actual performance info (lolfirestrike) means it wont even match Titan, or they would be all over it

And rebadges, really? [redacted]

This is going to be the norm for devs to cater to next gen consoles, weak multi core CPU need all their cores used else the game will run like crap. That in turn, means PC users will finally get to enjoy many well threaded games out of the box, we can crank settings to max and know that our CPU is not being useless.

Like the CPU is gonna make or break BF4. :D
Oh great, you gained 2FPS with support for 8 cores :D

Yeah, if they beat Titan they would have shown the slides and scores by now.

I can't believe you guys are watching that nonsense, 1 minute was enough for me to peace out. I'll just wait for the TL'DR tomorrow on whatever website I happen to visit.

You obviously don't play BF3 currently. You can have a 4.5GHz 2500K sit at 90% CPU in 64 man matches.

What's going on with the "ghetto" speak in this thread? Did talking/typing like a normal person go out of style in the past 5 minutes?

So, open standards are not relevant anymore as long as AMD has an advantage? Got it.

At least it will stop the talk about GPU-PhysX and how unfair it is.

sorry, haha, that Mantle stuff really got me excited. so many implications and possibilities...

and I was reading some fairly ghetto stuff while following blogs on this, so it just came naturally.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. BF3 64 man conquest absolutely kills your CPU. Unless you're up around 5ghz with an i5 you're CPU bottlenecked a good portion of the time. i7s have a significant advantage in BF3 and it seems that advantage will be increased in BF4. With 8 core support AMD machines should finally be up to par as well.
