The pilot was good. It had a modern day Phillip Marlowe feel, except he was a police detective. I kinda wish The After wasn't scrapped. I was curious about what it was going to be about.

10 in, very good. I've read every book and was still sucked in to the story.:thumbsup:

I do have the "advantage" of not having to put up with weekly/?? episodes. I watched them all in order.
 
Can't wait for the Old Milwaukee series to come out. I hope Michael Cane get's the lead.

I have yet to start The Fall (I want to just because of Gillian Anderson), but Bosch has been pretty good so far.

I must say, these Amazon/Netflix series that keep coming out are surprisingly good.
 
I'm a couple episodes into Bosch. It's reasonably entertaining, but nothing special. Just another cop show about a nonconformant cop.

I have watched 4 episodes. Its good, not great. Its not breaking bad/sopranos/etc... type but better than most other out there. I'll watch the whole series its entertaining.
 
Consumed the entire serie on Sat. Watch 2, shovel. Watch 2, Lunch. Watch 2, shovel & dinner. watch 4. I loved it. It was like hanging with Jack Webb (Dragnet) all day. Fun ride.
 
B, maybe B+. I watched it, enjoyed it. I'm hoping it will get better in subsequent seasons. A lot of new shows take a little time to find themselves and get polished.

Does anyone think it's weird they can make a series based on an extremely offensive term for Germans?

I'm 3 episodes in and agree with you. Should have it finished within a few days.
