Consumed the entire serie on Sat. Watch 2, shovel. Watch 2, Lunch. Watch 2, shovel & dinner. watch 4. I loved it. It was like hanging with Jack Webb (Dragnet) all day. Fun ride.

How did you get the entire series? Are there not going to be more seasons?

Edit sorry I forgot the Brits call seasons "series".

Finished the whole season. It gets better after the first two or three episodes, but in the end it's still the same clichéd story about the same hard-boiled cop that we've seen a hundred times over the past fifty years. The whole story could have been told in a two hour movie and nobody would be any wiser.

I have watched 4 episodes. Its good, not great. Its not breaking bad/sopranos/etc... type but better than most other out there. I'll watch the whole series its entertaining.

Just finished it last night and I completely agree. It definitely isn't The Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad caliber but I'd say it's one notch better than Southland.

I hope it's renewed for another season.

Watched the last two last night. The series was good, although the last episode was probably the weakest.

Haven't watched the whole thing yet, only through episode 5, but so far so good.

I did not realize the author of the Harry Bosch novels is the same author for the Lincoln Lawyer. That movie/storyw as very well done so I can see why this series is so good.

I loved this show. Probably the fastest season I've watched. That article doesn't mention dates... or did I miss something?

IIRC, 19 books in the series. Highly recommend them and Michael Connelly.

I might have to cave on this if Season 2 is going to be quite some time still. :(

Though I have just started GoT due to recommendations and am pretty hooked. I think part of it brings me back to my obsession with Robin Hood as a kid. Same sorta feel/setting. Just finished Season 2/Ep 3 last night.

Amazon should make a series called Apple or Samsung... it will be a guaranteed success just from the search results alone :)

I enjoyed it. We were desperate to find something to fill the soulless void left in our hearts after finishing Justified a few weeks ago (Still empty), and Bosh was decent. Not great, but pretty good.

I haven't liked much of what I've seen through Amazon: I thought the Nazi show is pretty bad; but we only get through 4 episodes so far. It has been a slog.

Favorite so far is probably Mozart in the Jungle.

Bernal is fantastic, as is Malcolm McDowell, Bernadette Peters, the unknown hottie playing the lead role, as well as the various other hotties and 2ndary characters. Great cast, great humor, super cool stories. A bit esoteric, but worth watching. Created and written by Jason Schwartzman and one of the many Coppola Brood.
I'd not heard this existed until seeing the thumbnail on Amazon and clicking on the first episode. It's incredibly good for having not been advertised anywhere. Especially when you consider the incredible talent invested in this show.

Also liked Catastrophe, which for 30 minutes each of 6 current episodes, isn't any kind of time sink if you decide that you don't like it.

Not only did the same guy write them but he actually made Bosch and the Lincoln lawyer half-brothers.

Husband and I enjoyed the first season and will happily watch the 2nd when it is released.

I haven't seen the show but I'm always on the lookout for new hotties so I researched. Her name is Lola Kirke and her father was the drummer for Bad Company and Free.

My take: solid cast (lots of actors from The Wire - I can't get over Marlo Stanfield being a cop :). Not the most solid story as it feels like rinse repeat cop story as others have mentioned. Then again that's the author's bread and butter so nothing wrong with that.
