Am I the only person that eats @ Arbys?

I go there one a month when I get their coupon. I order 3 classic cheddar melt, value curly fries, and a small soda

I mean, why does this place get so many jokes and mcdonalds doesn't? what about jack in the box? I don't get the love for that place
😕 McDonald's get's plenty of "Super Size" jokes years after they dropped the name.

Most people don't know what Jack in the Box even is because they aren't national. The only ads I've seen on the east coast were recently when a coworker watched something on Hulu and it's purely because the internet traffic at work is routed through North Carolina, where they have a few locations. I think it was a failed experiment in going national from many years ago and it was only successful enough to keep them open without growing. The only reason I knew who they were before going to San Diego in 1994 was from all the e-coli news they were involved in a couple years before that.

I tried the turkey sandwich when they had that special, last week or the week before. It was tasty, but small, considering the price. It was about the size of a regular hamburger bun. For $4+, I'd expect it to be larger.

I picked up the "turkey classic", it was $2.89. They had two other types but I didn't notice what they cost.

It wasn't huge but I thought it was adequate. Not as moist as I would have expected from fresh sliced roast turkey but was decent. Would probably get it again.

Sodium content is my concern as well. I am interested in the sliced turkey.

Also, OP, how have you "admired....eating at Arby's?" Like, how do you admire that...

When I was in driver's ed, the teacher told me to drive to Arby's while giving the lesson. He got the five for $5 deal and ate all 5 sandwhiches while he was "teaching" us to drive!

I admire your question about my admiration of Arbys, a place I eat at on occasion.

Cheapskate. 😛

I wish I could just buy a bottle of the arbys sauce but yes I do love eating there whenever I can find a place

I haven't been to an Arby's since I was probably in high school. The only thing I really remember was that the Arby's sauce made anything taste good, so I can't remember if the roast beef was any good.

I like them, but I only ever went there when I had the coupon for 4 for $4 or something like that. I haven't seen a coupon like that (or really any arbys coupon) in years, so no I don't go anymore.

For fast food, I love Arby's. The Chicken Cordon Bleu (no mayo, lot's of Arby's sauce) and the Chicken Bacon and Swiss are awesome.

I happen to love Arby's...and its among the best fast food items you can get for lifting - very good protein to calorie ratio.

I'd rather slit my throat than eat at Arby's

Well now...that's a fucking coincidence...I too would rather slit your throat than eat at Arby's...:whiste:

The Horsey sauce is pretty good. I wish they offered it in different "strengths" of horseradish though. It's pretty weaksauce.

20. Guilty Pleasure at Arby's

Super Roast Beef Sandwich
430 calories
17 g fat (5 g saturated, 0.5 g trans)
1,060 mg sodium

Just like a hamburger, this sandwich is piled with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The difference is that Arby's replaces the beef patty with roast beef, which clears off enough excessive fat to make room for indulgent sides or dessert. If this were a burger, you could expect it to weigh in with at least 600 calories.

We had an Arby's here, sadly it was not around for long. It was in the same building as the Taco Bell, which sadly, also did not last long. Now that building sells oxygen tanks for old people. Guess it was a bad location for a fast food joint.

they're alright. Haven't been eating much fast food these days, though.

what's with everyone calling them expensive? I think it's comparable to wendys, cheaper than A&W... pretty standard rates

Right, but then you add curly fries, soda, and a shake.

I totalled that up for you at arbys.com; 1870 calories and 3350 grams of sodium.

It is beyond me how you nearly die of GI issues and this is how you treat your body.

Somebody quote me since Fatty McJesus has me on his butthurt ignore list

I like Arby's. The beef 'n' cheddar is tasty and their reuben isn't all that bad for a chain version.

There was one in my area way back when I was five but it closed down, with the next one being a 90 minute drive. But there a few where I'm planning to move and I get some Arby's occasionally--and I've still been losing weight.

been wondering wtf people are talking about with the expensive comment myself. they are comparable prices to pretty much any fast food place other than maybe McDonalds or Taco Bell being like $1 cheaper.

wendy's, subway, quiznos, burger king, chipotle, qdoba - all comparable prices.
