Not for me.. Got sick once eating there, so I get nauseous even thinking about the place.

Same with Baja Fresh.

I like their roast beef. I saw the recent commercial for their turkey sandwich and just checked the nutritional info on their site. The turkey has similar sodium levels to the roast beef which kind of surprised me. Probably will grab one on the way home anyway to see how good it is.

A freshly made roast beef sandwich is very tasty. When they have been sitting for a while, not so much.

Come on. I figured someone like you could appreciate the lean roast beef served at this fine establishment.

Also, Jamocha shake.

If it was REAL meat...not the reconstituted crap that they serve...:p

I USED to like Arby's...back in the 60's...before my taste buds matured...

I wonder if Arby's ever sued Fox over that... Everyone knows that scene if they grew up watching TV and everytime Arby's is mentioned, that scene eventually gets mentioned.

Sue for what? They would have to prove that something factually incorrect was said that caused them damages.

How do you prove a cartoon was not so hungry that it could eat at Arbys?

If sodium is a concern you don't eat out (Fast food or otherwise) or eat out of a box or a can. Anything that's prepared/processed is going to be a saltbomb. The only way around this is to buy fresh and cook it on your own.

That being said, I still love a beef 'n cheddar and a jamocha shake and curly fries w/ horsey sauce...but damn $8 for that is a whole lotta dimp. Like others have said, I can almost get a higher end sit down meal for that same price.

I see no connection between your frequent fast food threads and your thread about almost dying trying to walk around a park on a hot day.
You are at the top of your game lately.

I find it interesting how so many people call it "expensive" I've never once thought of it as more expensive than any other fast food place.

But then again, I don't usually eat fast food and I try to avoid Arby's at all cost.

Expensive? I guess it's all relative. I mean i pay the same at subway, mcdonalds, innout, chikfila. I love the beef n cheddar. The one near me is always empty, how does it survive? Horsey sauce FTW

You're not getting out of there full for under 9-10 bucks.

My lady loves it. It's her favourite fast food by far, but they don't really have any of them around here.

Chicken Cordon bleu, curly fries, jamocha shake.

Holy shit that is the best combo. Sadly, I no longer eat there.

At Arby's it's like $4.50 for just a sammich. And it's not even that big of a sammich. For $.50 more at Subway I can get 2-3x as much food. With McDonalds I usually dumpster dive and go there for the $1 menu. $2 + tax lunch and I'm out.

5 for $5.95 was an AWESOME deal. But also a huge impact on margin. It was there to draw in new customers but wasn't something that was self sustaining.

<--- used to work for a big Arby's frachiser.

I like Arby's and eat it once in a while.
Only problem is that it comes sliding out my ass half an hour later.

Don't know, but I know it wasn't the first or last time the show took a shot at Arby's.

I remember a Tree House of Horror episode where Homer ate an alien and it was trying to bust out of this stomach and he remarked "If I can keep Arby's down, I can keep you down!".

That's actually the video clip I hoped to find, but the one I posted was the easiest one to find on Youtube.

Arby's is one of the only tolerable fast food places where I live (even though I subsist almost entirely on fast food). The employees are pleasant and there are healthier choices that actually taste great.

That said, I don't always get the healthier choices.

I loved the roast chicken club. Now it's gone and there's the "Grand Turkey Club (tm)." It costs $0.30 more. :(

Still love jalapeno bites with the berry sauce (so...#$%^ing...good).
