Am I the only one who doesn't like The Beatles?

I am always amazed by the people who do not at least appreciate what the Beatles did for music.

If you say they are overrated, fine, I can understand why you say that even though I disagree.

But to come out and say they have no melody or that they are garbage just baffles the mind.

They have a couple of songs, but I don't hear greatness in their music. I think most of the mystique was they were different during that era and John Lennon was a weirdo.

Considering they did more for music in 10 years than any other band's lifetime work in modern times.

Led Zep stole more material than Carlos Mencia.

LOL

Led Z is the greatest Rock Band of All Time. Did they even make a bad song? Regardless who wrote it, LED made it sound oh so good. I think Kashmir, When the Levee Breaks, and Stairway to Heaven are all top 10 of all time with Kashmir sitting at the top.

You know what they say about people who proclaim something subjective as an absolute?

Hmm I don't know about that. The Beatles were huge no question, they were loved here but not to the same degree as they were in England. No questioning their influence in music, but it was not transcending.

I don't know what they say, lol. But I wouldn't even classify them a true Rock Band. To me they were more of a forerunner for pop culture type bands.

what I don't get is that in a world where Led Zep. exists why ANYONE would want to listen to the garbage the Beatles put out.

Oh please.🙄

Any " alleged " garbage put out by the Beatles is a standard LZ could only of dreamed of reaching IMO.

Never really listened to them. I think there may be 1 or 2 songs that I've heard that I thought were ok. Just not my style.

Kashmir? most overrated, boring song ever, don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Zep fan but Kashmir?, "da-da da du-du du dah", repeat for 4 minutes, ugh. I only wish AOR rock would play more "good" Zep than that overblown piece of crap..
