The U2 version is better than The Beatles version.Too mellow for me, although I do like the song Helter Skelter.
You are not human if you do not like Eleanor Rigby.
If people are tired of hearing about their contribution to music it is only because their impact is so enormous. The fact that people could not like them for this fact alone only reinforces the validity of the claim.
With the exception of Hip Hop artists I bet it is hard to find someone in music that has not been influenced by the Beatles in some way.
They totally changed the entire music scene so even if an artist is not directly influenced by their music they have been passively affected by their contribution.
Bingo !
The 100 Greatest Artists of all Time," by "Rolling Stone" Magazine ?

Best album ?
#1 - Sgt. Peppers ( The Beatles )
subjective tastes are subjectiveI can't fucking stand the Rolling Stones and their popularity absolutely baffles me.
OP, do you even hate covers of Lennon/McCartney songs?

Don't care about them or really any old music for the most part.
Which is what the geezers back then said about the Beatles. You have every right listen to newer, emotionally vacant, repetitive, talentless music..

Sometimes a Beatles song will get stuck in my head ("Here Comes the Sun") and I have no idea why. I generally don't enjoy Beatles music.
Boy band of the 60's with their own Britney Spears called John Lennon..fuck em. Or Kill em all as Metallica used to say before they sucked too.[/QUOTE
So your comparing the Beatles to "Nsync"?? that's laughable, they went so far musically from "She loves you" to "Abby road", Metallica, jealous much?, one hit song "enter sandman", that's it. let's see if anyone plays Metallica 45 years from now, I don't think so. Fucking "Spinal Tap" is more relevant than Metallica..
