If people are tired of hearing about their contribution to music it is only because their impact is so enormous. The fact that people could not like them for this fact alone only reinforces the validity of the claim.

With the exception of Hip Hop artists I bet it is hard to find someone in music that has not been influenced by the Beatles in some way.

They totally changed the entire music scene so even if an artist is not directly influenced by their music they have been passively affected by their contribution.

Maybe the lack of appeal in the Beatles is that their lyrics weren't laced with a relentless litany of F-bombs, the N-word, references to whores, the merits of being anti-cop etc. etc - or - that you don't have to have a big ass subwoofer in your car thumping all over town to appreciate their music.

So your comparing the Beatles to "Nsync"?? that's laughable, they went so far musically from "She loves you" to "Abby road", Metallica, jealous much?, one hit song "enter sandman", that's it. let's see if anyone plays Metallica 45 years from now, I don't think so.
