Doesn't solve the anchor baby issue.

There is no solution to a non-problem. Well, unless the browning of America is seen as an issue. We've had so-called anchor babies for at least 150 years.

Repubs like to have emotional perma issues like this & abortion so that the rubes will vote for trickle down economics, again. And again again.

AltRight means anyone who is against the establisment. Anyone who is against carving up the country and selling it off and giving the proceeds to wall street banks and crooked politicians. Anyone who is against the welfare state that enslaves and cripples the inner cities. Anyone who is against public schools or points out the fact that public schools suck and giving more money to the teachers unions isnt going to fix it. Because they are anti-establishment, they must be labeled as racist, sexist, xeonphobic, etc. These are tactics straight out of Orwell... but since the establishment supporters are too stupid to even know what "Orwellian" means, these tactics do work.
"The teacher stands in front of the class,
But the lesson plan he can't recall.
The students' eyes don't perceive the lies
Bouncing off every fucking wall.
His composure is well-kept,
I guess he fears playing the fool.
The complacent students sit and listen
To some of that bullshit that he learned in school."

99% of americans had no idea what "alt right" was prior to hilary's speech. 98.7% of americans still have no idea.

They're platform is immaterial to their "movement". They exist to trigger the fuck out of the left. It's very amusing.

As clearly shown above, the definition of alt-right and how they've been mainstreamed has been a big point of contention among conservatives well before Clinton said a word about them this week. This is definitely a shitstorm of the right's making, and no amount of finger pointing is going to obfuscate the fact that a lot of partisan conservatives have only now realized they were (in some cases unintentionally) fomenting these right-wing bigots, almost exclusively white male cultural reprobates. After years of whistling past the graveyard, it's time to have a come to Jesus moment, because this ain't gonna stop with a landslide Hillary Clinton win. It's going to take years in the wilderness to root out these abhorrent prejudices.

EDIT: For a great example, see article here on Charlie Skyes, a big Wisconsin rightwing radio host who only now realizes the extent to which a substantial number of right-wingers are concerned as much or more with foreigners or "winning" partisan games instead of constitutional issues that have nothing to do with laws, budgets, etc. Some of them just don't like dem der negros, spics, et al.

It seems that the white supremacist who coined the term "alternative right" is a bit put out by Hillary pointing out that they are racists. Richard Spencer is demanding that Hillary apologize (link is to archive, not site) to "European-Americans" for associating them with "violent extremism". So those of you who wish to defend the alt-right here now know without a doubt that you are defending white nationalism/supremacy.

Please proceed, racists.

Sounds like she played trump.

Yep...it seems to be a super effective trap..She laid out all the ways Trump is not a suitable candidate, and offered an out to the Republicans - reject Trump, racism and these suspect groups, like Dole, Bush, and McCain. Cue the semi-embarrassed silence. A devastating attack speech like that would normally be met with Trump's party rallying to his defense; here, they're not. *crickets*

If I am a life-long Republican, and Hilary comes out and says "you Republicans are all racists, and that's why you nominated Trump", I will say "bullshit, you're so very wrong, and I will never vote for you"

If I If I am a life-long Republican, and Hilary comes out and says "Your party has a proud history, and you're better than this dim-wit who somehow managed to hijack your good name and good party." I will say "You have a point there - this guy does not represent what I believe is best for the country" It may only be 5% of Republicans who would think along these lines... but that's enough.

I dunno man...The Alt-Right groups seem to feel like this is their big coming out. They're excited that Hillary is bringing attention to them and their ideas.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/...04193420e2d3d?

“She is doing the white nationalism movement a great service by bringing attention to our issues to the forefront of political debate,” said William Johnson, a leader of the white nationalist American Freedom Party who was selected by Trump as a California delegate during the primary, but later resigned.

Jared Taylor, who helps run white nationalist online magazine American Renaissance, said he and those who share his beliefs “appreciate any publicity Mrs. Clinton gives us.”

“We have important things to say and are glad for any opportunity to speak to national audiences,” Taylor told HuffPost.

The Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi website that calls itself “the world’s most visited alt-right website,” also cheered Clinton’s speech.

“Well guys. We’ve made it,” Daily Stormer founder Andrew Anglin wrote. “Hillary Clinton is giving a speech about us today.”

They're happy that they can get a chance now to argue that they are the true, mainstream, Republican party these days.

It's hilarious that just a few months ago, Breitbart published an article about how the Alt-Right are the "dangerously bright", sociopathic libertarians, but after last night, Alt-right has become synonomous with white supremacist.

Just quoting a few gems for posterity. As usual, the extreme left camp paints anyone who disagrees with their agendas as "evil, evil racists" etc. with no basis beyond being the outgroup.

"We are good, therefore anyone who fails to agree 100% is evil." This is why your group of "progressives" are constantly attacking even your own members.

You have no idea what colour I am, yet have been called a "white supremacist" (and every other name in the book) for not agreeing with you. It's laughable how far the UberLeft will go to DESTROY anyone who disagrees. No wonder they side with islam, they love the idea of "convert and do as we say or suffer our consequences!"

These wonderful, caring, tolerant, accepting, loving people are the same ones who demand companies fire people for "offending" them, boycott companies that don't have more things they demand to see, demand gay couples in EVERY movie! Black one-legged women should replace every male lead! It goes on and on and on in the name of "diversity". All of which could be dealt with properly if if weren't for their preferred method, which isn't to raise anyone up but tear down anyone that has something they don't. It's this methodology which fuels an anti-white hatred as bad as any other hideous race war in recent or ancient history. Racism is racism, even if it's against "evil whitey".

They respect diversity in all things except the ones that matter; ideas, ideology, thought.

Some advice for your own benefit. When your friends more or less parrot the actual Klan, people are going to judge you for not only associating but generally defending them even on something this obvious.

Now, to be fair, just because someone loves the klan doesn't necessarily mean they're "evil" per se, but they sure as hell are racist.

They do that, too, but they also proclaim themselves race-realists and so on same as the kkk. You have to admit the klan is pretty racist.

To help explain this: lot of pedophiles do other things life; listing those off doesn't make them not-pedophiles though.

Can't forget Blue_max's favorite boogieman, social justice warriors. I've taken to referring to his type as social injustice warriors, or sijw's. Since he and his ilk clearly long for a world where minority groups accept their positions of no power and let the straight white males do the decision making.

He seems to fit right into that group.

If almost nobody knows who they are, they probably don't have much influence on anything. Just more fabricated political tools in the chest, because.....campaigning is a nasty business.

There are quite a few of them on this very forum.

They weren't mainstream before when it was verboten to be racist in public. Trump sure kicked over that big rock real good though.

You seem particularly in denial about what is going on in the Republican party.

In fairness, so do many other Republicans.

I imagine there are a fair number feeling like they just woke up in the back of a van, wondering where the f they are going and why their asses hurt so much.

Then there is another half pretending this isn't really happening and they'll wake up any second now.... now... Wait... now... um.. ... now? ... oh shit..

They're like... Who? Us? Why, we didn't have anything to do with this!

As if they haven't been dog whistling bigotry for decades, pandering to the fringe for votes.

Now that the fringe has taken the party hostage they're singing a different tune trying to deny that the situation is of their own making.

Maybe if they'd backed off of the top down class warfare of trickle down economics just a little bit then people would be better off, not as stressed, not looking for a strong leader to save them. Fat chance of that, huh?

Fun link! The guy ranted through the entire article about how he's been a hippie since the beginning and laced his article throughout with heavy emotions of hatred for anyone politically right of himself. Lots of words like "terror" "lunatics" "wingnuts" "scary" "loony"... not a single paragraph without a heavy insult.
Made plenty of shit up from thin air, too.

...and followed by another great article:
