I'll probably give away a few freebies or sell for close to cost. Remember, we are making women's jeans first. Men's is a big maybe.

You tout alot of experience on your team but it seems like you are very confused about the purpose or aim of the company. First of all, do you know anything about the jean industry? Specifically, the difference between price due to quality and price due to simple markup? There aren't *that* many $300 pair of jeans. Also, if you want to talk about top of the line (quality) jeans, they cost $50 tops to make. There is nothing you can do in jean manufacturing (washes, cuts, denim weave) that will make a pair cost more. If you really do want to sell for $30, and make a profit, that means you have to make a pretty poor-okay pair of jeans. So why would someone pay $30 for your jeans when they can pay $30 for Levi's? You say it's because your $30 will really be like the $200 pair of jeans? Do you know why people pay $200 for a pair? Because they are priced at $200, and not at $30.

Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way... But, I thought the only difference between premium jeans and the likes of Wrangler, Levis, etc. was the price. If you make jeans and sell them for less than most of the premium jeans are sold for, aren't you competing with Levis??
You don't really think that premium jeans cost more than a dollar more to make than levis, do you??
The difference is all marketing and price.
Please correct me if I'm wrong; as I started this post, I'm confused![]()

I'm always looking for good jeans, low-rise and 31-32" inseam a plus (I am petite and hate hemming 33-34" inseam jeans!). I have spent $10-200+ on one pair of jeans, and have found that my favorites all have a bit of stretch to them. Juicy Couture, Dollhouse, Seven, and Joie seem to fit me best, Blue Cult and regular designer brands (i.e. Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karen, etc.) not as well.
If you need anyone to try them out for you, let me know.![]()

Wow what is wrong with you people? I asked for ideas for a label name, not a fvcking business school dissertation critique on the flaws of a business plan. We have fvcking buyers lined up. This isn't some dice roll.
You ask all these questions, but do YOU have any experience in the fashion/manufacturing industry? I'm not here to qualify my business idea; the ball is already rolling, i've seen the samples, we've set the design, now all we need is a label. If you don't want to help with that, go away.

Yup, we know thiswe made sure to have a bit of stretch in them. We won't have the wide range of sizing as big boys. We made sure fit to be our #1 priority and design #2.
I'll PM you and send you a pair once we get our container. But before we order we need a good name for the label!
