I'm not the 16 year Old Swish posting my gay songs here like you are . Who cares whether I have a life now, I once did (and I still do) but at 16 I would of had much better things to do other than sit in my room hours upon hours fantasizing that I was part of Nstink, going as far as to Dub my vioce over their songs and then post a link at a Forum to them hoping to win friends and admirers.

I did that long before I was a member here, too, so I don't think I did it to post here. I did it because its FUNNY. And yes, I spent some time on D Squared, but hello, it was a project for school. Yeah right..hehehe. Well let's see, that was quite a few years ago so I would say you are the equivelent of someone who was infatuated with the Archies and the Monkees back then. Yep they had an exciting life, running full speed to make it to their front door so they wouldn't get the living crap beat out of them everyday.

And guys like GoldenBare use to do headers into the toilet bowl everytime they ventured into the Boys room. Anybody that all they talk about is sweaty mens in tights weren't too popular either.

You post your songs on the 'net to ATOT who 99.9% think its, well, &quot;crap&quot;. Why don't you just make a demo tape and send it to a record company to see how good you really are. To be honest, you're trying to force your voice to sing on some parts and it just doesn't sound right. A lotta strain, a sign that you need some vocal coaching. But hey, if you &quot;sold&quot; 100 copies or whatever, then you must be the next big thing

Take the criticism, and work with it, don't just sit on the computer flamin' away.

I dn't send a demo tape to a record company because I have no desire to do so. And selling 100 copies in a school with an average class size of 250 is pretty good, I sold almost all of them to people in my grade, so almost half of the people in my grade bought it. Yea, that is pretty good. And about the flaming thing, notice how I'm not flaming you. Notice how I didn't flame the other people with constructive criticism. I only flame those who flame me.

Don't try to write stuff that's not yours off as yours - I've heard that song on my local radio station. I don't think they'd play something from a artist who lacks vocal skills.

That is such a blatently obvious mix, any DJ that knows what beatmixing is would do that mix. So, how bouts you shut up cause you are totally wrong. b) Why would any radio station care if a DJ can sing or not? You REALLY should think more before you speak.

Alright. I just had to get my 2 cents in to this all too funny thread.

First off, to critique your music. It's not good. I'm not saying you suck or anything. But my GF sings. And she's damn good. Voice lessons since she was a little kid. I would strongly suggest you spend some time and find a good voice teacher. You're not singing from the pits of your stomach. It's really strained and not natural. To be honest, non of those songs sound natural. I'm not saying I'm a good singer but I know what's good and what's not. And don't be mad cuz you must've been expecting some criticism if you were willing to post this knowing that it was bad. You said yourself that this was supposed to be funny so why are you taking it so seriously? ;confused:

But really, go get some lessons. It'll take you some time. You're what, 15/16? Give it about 3-4 years with voice lessons. Then come back and post and hey trust me, it'll be all worth it to show what you got. But do not get mad at others for flaming you because your music sounds bad. You knew it before posting. If you weren't happy with some of it why have it up there?

I know, I should get a vocal teacher. I've never had one, and I haven't been in chorus in school since 6th grade.

I'm not mad at you. This is good. This is constructive. The cover CD was supposed to be funny, but not D Squred or the mixes. And I'm just annoying with the dorks, who just come in here and flame me. So I flame back. Pretty simple.

The colors for one. Its doesn't blend. White background with black and dark blue lettering on the frame. can't see stuff too well. And also that bright green name? Hmmmm.... needs some work. I think it's mostly the white and black. Too much contrast.
