Why can't I put jokes on my website? Is that not allowed?

<< I tried to make some suggestions to help a little, even though I hate that style of music. And I really appreciate the lame questions and "shot-down" attempts. Gee wally, 'm sure glad I wasted my time listening to that "stuff" when I could have been doing something extremely more productive. >>

What? I appreciate the constructive comments, but the 'lame questions' had to do with your later comments, and I never attempted to shoot you down. Don't know what thread you've been reading.

<< I don't recall ever trying to get a record deal. >>

I would've put those painful memories out of my mind by now, too.

<< And another thing. You making excuses saying that song sucks listen to this other song is no excuse. Either you can do it or you can't. You don't see nsync out there only telling their fans to listen to 2 songs out of 100 because the other ones suck. >>

My songs are all in my own range. I never said to listen to certain ones of my songs. So if you are gonna base my talent on a CD that I made to be funny, at least base it on the good songs.

Yea, later comments, like the NSync stuff. There was no reason for you to post that. And I still never said they were good, just that I would REALLY like to see one of you do better. And the mixes are good, once again better than anything you could do. LOL its funny how upset you got. You are far to sensitive my boy, I never even said anything bad about you, or in response to you.

alittle off thread topic, but Jim Nabors can sing---he has a hell of a voice. Shatner on the other hand...:disgust:

I could easily do just as terrible as you. Only i'd call it me making fun of Deeko, rather then, "the next pop sensation".

Well, if she thinks NSync is ugly, then she apparently doesn't like them, so why would you think she would be my target audience?

Hmm, you like NSync, so does that mean you think they are attractive?

No. But most girls do find the members of NSync to be attractive, so if you don't, you probably don't like their music. That's what I was getting at.

I find Britney Spears and Mandy Moore attractive, but I sure as hell don't like their music. It's called sex appeal, sex sells.

What? You mean CakeWalk? That's a simple midi editing program, you can find one yourself. And when you record, make sure you just run a microphone into a mixer, and have the mixer go into the line in on your soundcard, cause that's how mine were done. And then we'll see how great you are.

I didn't say that if you think they're attractive you like their music. Take Britney for example. She's obviously hot. Find a guy that says shes ugly, and I garuntee that's a guy that doesn't like her music.

Okay.

Deeko, I like you, despite what everyone else might think about you. You're sort of cute in a goofy sort of way and you obviously don't give a rat's fanny about what everyone else thinks of you. Nice healthy ego.

Okay.

Deeko, those songs are....well, if not bad then really not good. I listened to nearly all of them, and some of them are definitely better than the others - sorry, but I couldn't make it all the way through most of them and I like the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync sometimes. I said it before and I'll say it again - get you into a professional studio with someone who knows how to mix and fade you and maybe you'll be passable. But - and I mean this with all due respect - dude, I sing better than you do and I really can't sing. I go one octave higher on "Shape of My Heart" and "This I Promise You" and it sounds terrific to people, not just dogs - which means they must be some very easy melodies to sound good to, since as I said, I can't usually sing for crap.

I hear you talking about stuff being out of your natural range, but to be honest...I don't know if you have a natural range. You're either too low or too high, and neither sounds very "rangeful" - it's all pretty much the same note, just with different inflection.

If you're making money off of this and you're happy, then go for it as much and as often as you want to, because if you're doing what you like, it doesn't matter what any of us think. Just don't post it here and expect much constructive criticism or applause.

You really should hear me live, its MUCH better, like you said, my recording sucks. Something with the way my mixer equalizes the mic, it just takes something away...but my Uncle has a band and he just finished his recording studio in his basement, so D Cubed will be recorded there :)

Best example of my natural range: The first verse of Shape of My Heart.

I really didn't post it here for the likes of Red Dawn or Alienwho. I posted it because I did get several PMs from people who wanted to hear it after the server took them down.

Right....cause I guess I didn't really sell 100 copies of the CD, right? I'm just making that up. Come on, maybe YOU have no life and therefore would do something like that, but we aren't all like you.
